Thank you for sharing Keegan! Hope all’s good with you
it’s such a lovely looking collection!
Yes! Def in a few Misty stories - one that scared me was Flight of Fear where the character has a night she is thrown into a plague pit… there is also Black Agnes set in London plague. I have a database of plot summaries at juliaround.com/misty - if any sound familiar I can post scans…
Just a gentle reminder that we’re always looking for #ComicsStudies contributions - articles, interviews, short comics and reviews all welcome!
Very happy to be in Brussels for #IGNCCIBDS25 #ComicsStudies conference - looking forward to a fabulous week of talks this week!

Very excited to be heading to University of Ulster next week to give the keynote talk at the On The Margins #comicsstudies conference! I’m speaking about ‘Playing the Game’ and sports stories in British girls’ comics - so many fab stories to unveil!! www.ulster.ac.uk/faculties/ar...
in a world of reboots and remakes and sanitised slush you gotta fight back by writing something really really fucking Weird
We’re currently running a competition where the winner will get £50 store credit to spend at Gosh! To enter, simply follow us on Bluesky (if you're seeing this, then there's a good chance you already do)! We’ll be drawing the winner next week on Friday 14th March, so make sure to follow us by then.
HB is excellent, I also loved B&B and Livestock too, tho it’s not horror. Ah I hope you like Misty - the Rebellion reprints have been solid, the Jaime Rumeu collection from Rebellion is almost all Misty stuff too and some of the best!
Ah thanks - you too! I went out for rugby and karaoke and now have no voice for my sins 😆 How’s life?
Some of my faves (both recent and otherwise) are The low, low woods (machiado & dani) Locke and Key (Hill & Rodriguez). Adamtine (Berry). Wytches (Snyder & Jock). Misty (if you like old comics!)
Proud to have a new article in The @uk.theconversation.com, co-written with @bournemouthuni.bsky.social’s Julia @hypnojoo.bsky.social Round, about @veradrew22.bsky.social’s groundbreaking LGBTQI+ superhero film The People’s Joker theconversation.com/the-peoples-...
