Do you? If yes, how will you enforce that “responsibility”?

Again, my issue is that American taxpayers should not pay 30B for this

Again my problem is that American taxpayers are underwriting this mess

Many working Americans don’t even have health insurance (Israelis have very good and mostly free healthcare) and instead we are paying so much for death and destruction and not solving anything

They are not and neither are many other factions. And I am all for any country fighting against aggressors. But I am against this 👇 especially when Americans don’t have health insurance, biomedical research is being axed etc while our tax dollars go to pay these contractors…

Where U.S. science has been hit hardest after Trump’s first year The Trump administration has slashed the number of grants from the National Institutes of Health, with far fewer focused on women, cancer and mental health.

Those of us doing research related to women’s health have been hit particularly hard by the govt’s sabotage of the NIH. I spoke to WaPo for this piece, as painful as it was to discuss the reality my lab is facing. www.washingtonpost.com/science/2026...

Trump is expected to sign an EO on Sat aimed at expanding psychedelics research & opening path for controlled therapeutic use. The order would reportedly direct FDA to issue new guidance for clinical trials involving drugs such as psilocybin, ibogaine, LSD, & MDMA — all currently illegal in the U.S.

I have no idea. I wish more of these studies would control for food and life style changes because it could be that at some of the symptoms alleviation is due to a shift away from drinking alcohol and suboptimal high calorie/carb diet

Also this week:

-Scott Bessent calls the Strait of Hormuz the Strait of VERMOUTH
-RFK Jr pulls over on a highway to cut the penis off a dead raccoon to "study it" later
-Gregg Phillips (FEMA official) says he was teleported to the Waffle House against his will

And it is only Thursday

Call highway patrol - they are good for things other than giving speeding tickets on I70!
The driver may have a record and they can use your complaint to stop him

Meanwhile stock up on Dubai Chocolate products if you like it. The pistachio for them comes mostly from Iran

Pistachios btw are indigenous to the Iranian plateau with archaeological evidence of consumption dating back to +6500 BC

I grew up driving by pistachio fields and no fruit is more beautiful

Bring me a lower score
Bring me a lower score🎵🎵

I could rise above on a lower score
I will wait for it
I'm not too late for it
Until then, I'll sing my song

Bring me a lower score, oh oh🎵

Super weird to me that people don’t rush to get this vaccine. It is a miserable and common disease that in addition to producing incredible pain, increases the chances of dementia and stroke. What are they afraid of, late onset autism?

And there is additional strong evidence that Shingles vaccine delays or reduces dementia. Everyone eligible should get this vaccine

Delighted to share our discoveries about one of the brain's neurotransmitter systems:
www.biorxiv.org/content/10.6...

Together with colleagues at the @alleninstitute.org, we have learned a lot about a tiny cluster of neurons in the brainstem locus coeruleus (LC) that releases norepinephrine (NE). 1
