Costumes look phenomenal. I've only really played VtM in modern nights, do you need to know a lot of history to pull it off?

Ghostwire Tokyo is SO GOOD!

It's the same for trad science too. Degree in human biology and I use it to help little biotechs get money from big evil biotechs. Sometimes I find big evil biotechs find little biotechs to buy/work with. It's hard to look in the mirror but I gotta eat.

Heyo. Been a minute.

Needed a bit of a break there - between Youtube's new view-dropping nonsense and IRL stuff, things have been a bit stressful.

But now that we're back, let's ease back into things with some good ol' fashioned DS1 challenge running.

I know it was probably bigger back in the day, but I'm a big fan of the Buffy Unisystem game

He got blasted lmao

Big agree. If multiple dice say I biffed it, fair enough. If one d20 rolls less than 10, that's just unfair odds, clearly.

Oh my god, I can't put in words how full my heart is for you and this role. Deb of Night was one of my favourite parts of VtMB1 and it owns so much to say I know the VA of the successor!

Bored and doom scrolling? Why not read about a really cool card game? And maybe even back the Kickstarter?

Actually fully agree. If I'm speaking with someone and they tell me they're only part way thru I won't go spoil it, regardless of age, but I give 0 cares about being spoiled myself. Ok so X character kills Y character, I'm way more interested in how it got to that point.

What seemed to stop their impersonator was a direct call out video, alerting their subscribers to the fact, including evidence of 1:1 translations of things that are more than "well if you're doing the same challenge you'll have the same hurdles" hope you manage to get it handled!

Is this foreign language translators/plaguarizers? I know Press A and a bunch of other challenge runners had their videos stolen almost 1:1 but in Spanish

Commenting for the algo- it looks phenomenal, visual novels aren't often my bag but I wish you the best of luck!

I didn't even realise Mafia 2 was an open world game until I played Mafia 3 and it was like "oh, I see, driving to mission locations and having 2 shops to buy from was the bar to pass" it'll be better without it. Mafia 3 was good, but padded needlessly.

@eurothug4000.bsky.social I saw your Ninelives video thanks to @dominictarason.com's post and it's had me in a chokehold ever since. I 'finished' the main story last night and I still have so much left to do. Thanks for sharing this with the world, I love this game.

Indirects* also I'm not saying I'm against funding schools for housing top researchers, etc. I just always felt the massive indirect costs made actually getting those researchers to be able to do research unattainable. Plus I jadedly think a bunch of that money was going directly to the top.

2/2 many other universities in many other countries have indirect costs much closer to 30-50%. Like when I last checked, UK was between 10% and 60%, Japan was a flat 30%, etc.

Maybe a bit biased as I used to work with assisting universities getting funding from industry, please educate me if I'm wrong but I directs were egregious in the US, some times being over 100%, so to give a researcher 100k, the company would have to spend over 200k, which seems OTT, considering 1/2

I would not, not because I wouldn't want to sit at your table some day (I absolutely would love to!) but because personally I love the feeling of everyone telling stories for each other because they want to, not because there's financial benefit involved. Big up to those who get that bag though!

Yeah sorry guys, I can't read, it seems ๐Ÿ˜‚

From what I've read, you can choose a clan, but it's more impactful from a character interaction standpoint than it is from gameplay, as you can more easily get out of clan abilities in this.

I suppose it's easy enough/risk free to try if say yourself and another person sign on for the DM responsibilities at first and minimal ยฃยฃยฃ goes into marketing. If it takes off, great, if not, little was lost but a lot was learned.

I'm personally uninterested in paid for GMs just because I think ttrpgs are best when it's friends doing it for other friends cause they love it/each other, but I fully support people who want to do it because it is a valid cost due to the amount of prep and labour involved.

I think in theory there's good bones to the idea, a lot of what puts people off investing in new systems is "will I ever get a game together for it", and offering a company vetted/supported way of doing it is smart. In reality, unsure if there's the market there for "smaller" publishers (no offence)

Yeah they need to start getting you in ways that will hurt, like giving you compliments you'll be forced to accept. Like everyone knows your pronouns are kind/heart ๐Ÿ˜‚
