If it's possible to have options for the split view montage that would be amazing (i.e. channel 2+3, 1+4 etc), but this already makes macros much easier. And then if it's possible to be able to save the split views directly as full sized single images, but that's definitely asking for too much 😆

Ok, I just installed and this is so very cool! Being able to make/save multi-channel palettes feels like a prayer answered in some ways - will definitely change my workflow! (Which has been stagnant for long enough that this is exciting).

Most days, I love the high-throughput nature of our work. Some days, I miss the low-throughput, qualitative nature of a past life.

As a student, I was perplexed by a field that dismissed qualitative, classical studies—the foundation we build upon—in favor of 'sexy' techniques. I first learnt about axonal beads through Cajal's drawings. I wonder what else we've forgotten. Cross-posting some images to bsky. #FluorescenceFriday

Learnt this #FluorescenceFriday about the original IHC paper—somehow only 1200 citations! Favorite quote this year “These studies have been interrupted by the war, but the..great utility of the method..urge us to record the experimental data so far accumulated." With my fav IHC image
