The positive being that now you have a perfect opportunity to go through all your stuff and throw away some. (I threw away a little bit too much in 3 moves)

I've watched so many Youtube vids over the years that I have started to experience a physical, negative reaction to normal conversation segues like «Speaking of», «By the way» and «On another topic». I'll have a brief stress-induced adrenaline surge hearing those words.

Ads are a blight on humanity

That's good to know, thank you!
However, I don't need to see what a specific currency is in another currency. I want to easily convert amounts on the fly in text, often multiple different currencies.

It's very handy to have this and other functionality automatically tell you when highlighting text.

May I take a moment to gush about @vivaldi.com?

The browser is entirely customisable; drag and drop buttons or even windows within windows. There's mouse gestures, excellent tab handling, auto-hide UI and *no* AI.

The only thing I miss is highlight currency/time zone conversion.

Thank you!

The best thing about working in food is that I love making food. I enjoy combining all the puzzle pieces you need to fit to be able to feed people.

Second best thing?
Leftovers.
All the leftovers.
Cake day? More like Cake Every Day.....Day.

I could barely justify buying a used, last-gen, regular Fold that work paid for but my god do I want a triple fold so bad. I love gadgets too much, send help.

Now if only I could install Graphene on it...

Comic. Panels up to the 10-year point are grayed out. New panels since the Ten Years comic, which chronicles the first ten years of PERSON 1's journey with cancer: (1) [two people in bed] PERSON 1 (woman): One more chapter? PERSON 2 (man): Don’t we both have to get up early? PERSON 1: Nnnnnggggh PERSON 2: Sure, good point. (2) [many people wearing masks, walking while looking at graphs on their phones] (3) [birds landing on people] PERSON 2 in beanie and scarf: Hah! They like *my* seeds best. PERSON 1 in scarf holding phone with a bird sitting on it: Wait, how do I take a picture of this one? (4) [two people rowing boats with tree landscape] (5) [Person 1 carries overflowing stack of things to Person 2 in bed] PERSON 1: I brought you honey lemon tea, more pillows, a cinnamon roll, Tylenol, another blanket, a– PERSON 2: It was just Appendicitis, I’m really– PERSON 1: *It is my turn to take care of you and I am going to do it right!* (6) [Two people in car] (7) [still in car) PERSON 1: Oh my god. PERSON 2: Oh my god. (8) [car driving] PERSON 1: Pull over! PERSON 2: I am! (9) [both people get out of car] (10) [Large colored panel of aurora borealis over water with both people looking on] (11) [Person 1 sits against tree while Person 2 lies on the ground] PERSON 1: Fifteen years. No sign of the cancer. (12) I *am* having some weird symptoms. Joint pain. Fatigue. I think I’m losing my close-up vision. PERSON 2: Yeah. Me too. (13) PERSON 2: I think we’re getting old. (14) PERSON 1: I guess that’s okay. PERSON 2: It’s all I wanted.

The only other thing I can think of is Mocap Fusion but that's probably not the one you were thinking of. Sorry I couldn't be of more help

What are you looking for it to do?

If you need to stream/record a 3D avatar, Warudo is one of the better ones. Vseeface is great but looks intimidating. VTube Studio for Live2D models. Don't think I've heard about one starting with M though

Great suggestion and fantastic to see that they're being so transparent.

One of the most inuriating things about this whole mess, is that companies are raising prices worldwide to subsidise the US market.

So everyone gets to enjoy higher prices while the US temper tantrums the world economy

I don't want to say I told you....wait, screw that, I absolutely am going to say I told you so.

Granted, I'm not sure they delete accounts when they say they are but one can hope.

And getting rid of several decades-old email accounts is cumbersome but rewarding when everything is cleaned up and emails are slowly funnelling into a dread-inducing spiderweb of folders, filters and aliases...

....wait

Spending hours every week to slowly clean up my digital footprint has been both tiring and refreshing.

You don't realise how many accounts you have, how many websites ranging from normal to decidedly shady you have given your email/info to until you go through them all, one by one.

A comic of two foxes, one of whom is blue, the other is green. In this one, Blue and Green are leaning on each other, nuzzling their heads together with their eyes closed.
Green: Remember when we first started talking, and you had no picture of yourself on your profile?
Blue: Yeah?
Green: You were so nice, I didn't care what you'd look like. You being beautiful was just a bonus.

Blue opens his eyes to look at Green, as Green listens attentively.
Blue: On our first few dates I wasn't sure if you were male or female. I just thought you're funny and cute.

Green pulls away enough to look Blue in the eye with astonishment, and Blue meets his gaze unbothered.
Green: You didn't know, and you never asked me?
Blue: Didn't really matter to me. I would have liked you either way.

Yes, I might need to check my prescription glasses and yes, this is an indictment of how old my humour is.

The hilariously failed attempt at using a transparent image is truly *chef's kiss* in this debacle

I often joke about the annoying commentary of Navi but she was a remarkable addition to the game. Younger me got much more immersed by having a companion that fit the setting so well.

As a marketing tool it has been an unbridled success, even 27 years (oh god, why) later

I'll be honest, I've muted every server I've ever joined and I prune my list irregularly. I can't stand the constant nagging of the Discord red dot.

Then again, I also inform anyone inviting me of this fact and I reply to dms more or or less immediately

While they do have a desktop mode, surprisingly, that's not the main growth driver!

According to Tupper, their Head of community, the majority of users are using VR. I imagine that's in part bc of the cheaper Quests.

Part of the reason why it's so popular is because it's an established social space. It's not a game that people can finish and huge groups of different people can find a safe and social place to gather.

It's a fantastic way to meet people all around the world and can help cultural understanding

It's one of the few reasons VR gaming hasn't died. VRC has been one of the biggest sale drivers for VR HW.

Credit to the team, after a few years of slow burn they started gaining speed and have been pushing good updates.

According to a community rep., more people use VR than desktop these days

As Twitter is apparently using people's content to further their goals, restoring deleted posts at will and without consent, I want to reiterate what I have said before.

The leadership of Twitter do not care for laws, customs or decency.

They do not care.
Don't trust them with your info or content
