Game: Balatro
Review: A fun game utilizing poker hands and multipliers to get higher and higher scores. There's a lot to unlock adding to the replayability. Easy to pick up but hard to put down. For anyone looking for something more low key that doesn't involve aiming or dodging or jumping. 4/5

Game: Citizen Sleeper 2
Review: A narrative sci-fi RPG much longer and it improves nearly every mechanic of the first game. You gather people to form a crew that will perform missions as you travel from location to location. The story is much more linear than the first, but no less beautiful. 5/5

Citizen Sleeper
Released: 2022
Review: a beautiful sci-fi narrative RPG with a memorable cast of characters. Completed in just under 6hrs. The game uses a unique system where dice rolls are spent on actions with varying amounts of risk. You can get bonuses based on level. 5/5 and repayable. Also DLC

Tactical Breach Wizards
Release date: Aug 2024
Review: A fun turn based tactical game. Each level is brief usually between 2 and 5 rounds. Allows for a lot of experimentation thanks to Rewind and Foresight mechanic that lets you see how the round plays out and then rewind it back step by step 4.5/5

No I think it's more in the vein with how DA:I did it's multiplayer. You start off in the same area, explore, earn some levels and better equipment, then square off against some bosses

Yes! It's based in Elden Ring and is meant to be a coop battle arena with 3 players against bosses (so not really a single player story)

We absolutely loved the DLC up until the final boss. In fact some parts of the DLC were even better than the main game and included my favorite armor pieces.

Never heard of it but I'm sold on the title. When I travelled to Svalbard they had a husky cafe with these beautiful white huskies that would nuzzle me while I drank hot cocoa

Do you play horror games, and if so do you wait until night time to play them? Currently working my way through Allen Wake 2 and my dad is trying Silent Hill 2.

It was nice to FaceTime with my family. My dad visited me for dinner. And I did a second Christmas with my best friend's family last night, so that was very sweet.
