Ok the error message seems to point at a misconfiguration of the MTLRenderPassDescriptor not giving a depth pixel format while your shader is writing to it.
So maybe you need a Unity expert? (Iโm not sorry)
I donโt get it: is it a compute shader or a render (fragment) shader? Cause Iโm not sure you can write to depth in compute in Metal.
