Yes I think the “FIFA” bleep was probably to avoid any legal issues with trademarks and broadcasting rights. The “Cup” bleep was clearly satire with the BBC most probably poking fun at itself and the wider TV industry.

In the final episode of Twenty Twenty Six, they did not BLEEP the word "Cup". So the previous ones were bleeped for humour, not for legal reasons!
