Alys Weinbaum gave an intriguing lecture on the political, social, and affective affordances of a sub-genre of speculative fiction that she calls ‘Reproductive Dystopia.’ To illustrate what she means by that, the literary scholar focused on Rivers Solomon's novella 'The Deep.'
