Every morning at sunrise I’ve been walking to 7/11 and then eating the free breakfast here at the hotel, then going to the gym here to get on the bike machine

I wish my life at home was like this. Routine. And I crave living in a smaller, beautiful, well-kept walkable community.

So the resorts are super nice and fancy (you can access all of them through the lagoons/beach trail, you just can’t use their amenities ofc), but…

I’ve really enjoyed staying at this cheaper hotel because it’s part of a walkable community. I wish I lived here! I wish I lived in a walkable city!

life is good (i went for a walk)

And there were dolphins 🐬 and sea turtles at the last resort I stayed at. This time we picked a cheaper option, just a hotel. But yeah, you could pay to swim with the dolphins

I miss that, it was definitely a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for me.

And honestly, I don’t wanna sound ungrateful because I’ve really enjoyed myself so don’t get me wrong! but my vacay in 2023 blows this one out of the water. I got to take a tour to a beautiful waterfall that included wine-tasting and coffee-tasting. These are some of the old pics:

We might go home early because of what happened. And because my mom’s health issues are getting worse. We should be home to help her through her doctor’s appointments and stuff. She needs to get a pacemaker replacement soon

I managed to turn the day around, after she was so rude to me. It was a beautiful day :) I did get to swim at the beach again, this time a different beach.

And she wouldn’t back down. She’s normally really nice to me, idk where this animosity came from. She said she feels disgusted, so I started crying. I’m the kind of person that when I start crying, I can’t stop. And then she was annoyed that I was crying. I feel so dumb.

My dad’s colleague’s mom got really mad at me over something so stupid that wasn’t even my fault. She came at me like “Why do we have to swim in the ocean?? Isn’t the pool good enough for you?” and I explained that it was just a suggestion for us to go to the beach again. We don’t have to.

I respect you so much for not only caring so profoundly for animals, but for subsequently improving your own health so much! That’s really impressive. I think if I get my eating disorder under control with therapy or smth, I’ll be able to adhere to the pescatarian -> vegetarian -> Vegan pipeline!

I think it’s my binge-eating/food addiction problem. I’m diagnosed with otherwise specified feeding or eating disorder (OSFED) bc I also have elements of bulimia, as I purge sometimes. Denying myself certain food groups is really difficult. But I need to!

I know some Vegans can be “preachy” and abrasive, but I still respect Veganism so much. They are doing so much for my beloved animal friends! Vegans I fw you heavy

I need to go pescatarian again. Idk why my self-discipline is so low, even when it comes to things I care deeply about. I’m sorry :(
