I never thought I would ever feel the need to defend a pope. It’s not my religion, and never will be, but I’m standing firmly with Pope Leo on this. (Only thing that is wrong here is the typo where they forgot to capitalize “Pagans”)

As a child I hated Sunday. It didn’t seem like a day off because I was forced to get up and go to a building where I got preached at and felt inferior because I was a girl. The feeling of freedom and peace when I was finally able to stop doing that…immeasurable.

I'd really like to see leadership calling for impeachment and removal, regardless of whether they have the votes to get it done. Same way we called for marriage equality before we had the votes. A leader's job is to lead. If a genocidal threat isn't impeachable, then nothing is.

America is now on the clock.

We have two weeks to remove Donald Trump from office through the 25th Amendment or impeachment.

Not saying that will happen, only saying that a nation with even a shred of decency would get to work on it immediately.

Regardless of whether it’s all talk, when the leader of our country expresses plainly genocidal intent, everyone has to do something.

For citizens of all political stripes, it means rejecting this madness. For Congress, it means taking action to rein him in. Now.
