The bald ref’s whistle was so quick today. Lotta sketchy calls.

Final - Pitt 91, Ohio St 90 (OT)

Zack Austin just ripped OSU's hearts out. What an incredibly gutsy win by the Panthers. Down as many as 12 in the second half, they rallied past foul trouble to steal a massive win. Pitt is now 7-1 and will face Mississippi State on Wednesday.

Zack Austin!!!!! Let’s go!!! Huge huge win for Pitt. Wow. On the road. Down most of the game. Down key guys. Monster.

Chucky Hepburn is really fun to watch. Really assertive on both ends. Exactly what a PG playmaker should be.

Pitt, Columbia and Southern Utah have each won five games in a row and are tied for the second-longest active winning streak in Division I. Everyone is still chasing UConn's run of 16 straight wins.

Absolutely shocking that Racing’s Taylor Flint was left off either Best XI teams. Her performance this season was outstanding. The league’s best defensive stats for a midfielder.

I would say Taylor Flint got snubbed by the midfielder/forward voting format but she didn't make either 11. Big miss IMO.

The other big snub for me was Racheal Kundananji, who IMO was the first player on my 2nd 11. #NWSL

Final - West Virginia 62, Pitt 86

Pitt never trailed and has now won both the football and men's basketball editions of the Backyard Brawl in the same year for the first time since 2008. Jeff Capel, previously 0-4 against the Mountaineers at Pitt, has now won 2 straight in this series.

Unbeaten teams remaining: 94 (Sorry, West Virginia. You lost to Pittsburgh 86-62.)
