I love yoshi games and the style of this one is stange and interesting. But that extra 10 dollars hurts this one I think. It's a shame, we will likely look back on this release as one of those "hidden switch 2 gems" in 5-10 years and it will still be 70 dollars.
Context is important. But if it's roleplaying, the books I read tend to have heroes do well on average and not have to flee from all encounters. Sometimes they retreat, but it isn't their main approach.

More anime fans should check out the DVD section of their local library. You'd be surprised some of the cool stuff you can find there that is out-of-print and not streaming on any platform. For example, my library has all of Baccano (one of my all-time favorites).

My game has a fake school message board discord channel. In it, the npcs and pcs can interact. I used it as a device to foreshadow events. But in this case, the clip show was done as if the npcs were production staff. Just recounting different scenarios that the party went through.
