I thought Mum got it for her

Species (and Species II) are terrific examples of 90's mainstream sleaze. Separately, NCIS (a show I've never watched but one of the most successful network TV shows ever) is a spin-off of JAG (think I watched an episode in high school...).
I liked Dr. Sbaitso as a kid
The simplicity of the Hogan Though (TM) 12% rule with the Pointers Sisters' complex time signatures on the 12 song is chefs kiss
30 years later, I'm still the guy saying Kaufman/Gunn's Tromeo and Juliet (1995) is better, sincerely.
Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23 was an underrated sitcom. James van der Beek was excellent in it, and it's sad that he is gone so young.
I love this stream so much
I don't know how to communicate to non-watching household members how incredible it was
Just made pork-and-prawn-dumpling-style burgers and I humbly suggest this bastardisation should already be a thing
Explaining mutually assured destruction with dildos, plus a soundtrack heavily leaning on The Buzzcocks, is a pretty good starter...
I have *a lot* to say about this genre, but my most earnest requestbis you watch The Party Animal which is genuinely great
This is too close to home/work
Apropos of nothing, thinking about the long forgotten Josie and the Pussycats film where sinister executives develop technology to manipulate thought and information ostensibly to make money amorally but really because they hope to force people to like them www.youtube.com/watch?v=-duh...
American Vandal IRL
The Rann Governments water minister was from the Nationals!
Did much better switching to Lube Mobile than Milky Bar kid
Tangent: there's a van on our street with faded stickers for lacrosse and Info Wars, the latter of which once featured Billy Corgan.
Wow. Imagine using this one weird trick to become an auteur filmmaker
It was genuinely earnest and I love it for that
I only just realised that Jim Varney and Friendly Jordies look like they are related
I couldn't translate the linked article but the image and date immediately made me think it's referencing 1983's Jaws 3(D) and Friday the 13th Part 3. The latter had the best-worst 3D effect I've ever seen youtu.be/vsHas1cRGKc?...
Now thinking of how Dad watched my copy of Screwballs (a film with 2 sequels)
Can't believe he never watched my copy of Maximum Overdrive (where they did the soundtrack and are also King's favourite band).
"potato bake, normally associated with 5 star restaurants" is art

I have no real interest or care beyond mild bemusement but Troy Bramston has written a lengthy puff piece on the Naked Gun reboot in the Oz
This is one of the most beautiful things I have witnessed, the craft here is impeccable.
You can (should) love him for this alone. Would add that there's an earnest love for the medium that even if you did disagree with him it's coming from a sincere place and I miss criticism like that.
And the BBFC's (a form of British policing I guess)
The dumbest-'smart' Australian you know: uh this is so just an episode of Utopia
