"Permitting post-election litigation that seeks to rewrite our state’s election
rules—and, as a result, remove the right to vote in an election from people who
already lawfully voted under the existing rules—invites incredible mischief.
In sub freezing temperatures we sang together and heard stories of voters whose votes are being challenged and how there are efforts to change election rules after the election is over and certified.
Yesterday I joined hundreds of others seeking to protect
the legal votes of more than 60,000 peoole in North Carolina where
the losing candidate for a seat on the NC supreme court is trying to have more than 60,000 valid votes thrown out.
I am a better human because of them. The world is better for their compassion, care, joy and justice wisdom and wit. May I continue to be a better human while honoring and grieving these incredible women.

Jan. 16, Fern Lawler my therapist in formative times passed away in Fort Collins, CO.
Dec. 7, Marqueen, my gracious neighbor, passed away after 92 years of life.

They never knew one another, this sacred trinity of powerful women. In three months the world has lost three lights who have helped to weave wisdom, courage, joy, hospitality, justice, and curiosity into the tapestry of the world and in my life.
