its a bittersweet victory cuz i lost all my rosaries and i dont ever plan on using the beast crest

i beat savage beastfly. silksong is fun again

i only have it on switch which i don't think has any way to install mods. so i would have to buy it again

but god damn, i feel so... beat down with silksong. my best won't cut it

hollow knight was the hardest game ive even beaten, easily. i'd started to tally the number of times i died to the radiance, and i finally beat her on my 166th attempt. it took me almost 300 hours to beat the game. i cared a lot about the world and the characters and the story so i toughed it out!

its kinda bumming me out to be honest. like, i am at 42 hours of play time and i am solidly stuck in act 1. i do not have the reflexes or the Epic Gamer Skills for this.

i just wanted to get lost in a world i cared about, and actually play a game i waited 6 years for. but i am just not good enough!

also silksong is so beautiful but i seriously am horrible at it. giving real consideration to playing it with mods or something.

i do not care about being Good At Videogames i wanna explore and have fun uncovering all the lore

the more i read and see about Marathon the sadder i get about it.

beyond the inexcusable art theft, the game in general seems like such a missed opportunity. should have been a single player (or co-op?) roguelike, with multiple character narratives to play through. pvp as a bonus mode maybe
