None that I can remember. The past big tech shifts that I’ve lived through happened through mass appeal, not as a push. Smartphones and social media got big because people liked and wanted them.

Inverse experience here in Ireland: go to a dealer and say “hey, we’re looking at EVs” and they’re *DELIGHTED*. Margins are good and it’s the easiest sell in the world. Biggest pushback you get is upselling families on chonky SUVs, or suggesting you really want a hybrid.
There’s no rules for this stage of things other than feel your feels and be around your family. Sadly I know the feeling is a roller coaster of intensity and boredom so if you feel the need to express yourself externally but don’t want to dump on family then this is a good spot. No guilt.
