Bovington’s displays are fun to watch and some of those tanks make an awesome racket! Never seen the Tiger in action though. A bunch of those rumbling towards a soldier’s position must have been terrifying.

That looks a great way to add some working signals. Are you going to add them to the rest of the layout?
That's neat! How easy was it to install and get working?
If they do have a change of heart one day I hope they put one in Q “WOTZ” or Chinese red and harbour mist gray. Not silver - that’s for passenger units!
You could be rather busy (busier)!
Black and white photo of the 2 silver streamlined Twin Zephyr 3 car trainset on display in Chicago in 1935 just before entering regular service. Railway Age sold their cover space to Electro-Motive as an ad for this issue.
#OnThisDay Apr 6 1935: In the most competitive rail corridor in the United States, the CB&Q Railroad makes a test run of its new Twin Cities Zephyr streamlined trainset, travelling between St Paul and Chicago in 5 hours 31 minutes at speeds up to 104 mph.
Sounds interesting! Would be nice to see some shots of it in action! 👍
How is it powered - with a pole change circuit of some description?
From my UK perspective it sort of looks like a 6 axle brake van!
That little industrial looks great in that blue. Not sure about that street lamp though; is that an original fitting? 😀
Nice! I think the engine sounds are very effective.
Are you going to add some momentum, so they keep rolling when you close the throttle?
Sometimes it’s all about the atmosphere, not just the models or the layout. They have a magical way of transporting me back in time….

That seems very smooth indeed - I can't see any rocking from side to side. Contrast that to some steam engine models, especially N scale.
Does it also have a “de-luxe” car park for the well-heeled? 😀
Sort of TfW with FYE!
Q E5s! ❤️
I’m looking at the radius of that curve and the point rodding. It must have been a decent pull on the point levers to shift those! 💪
Wonderful! 👌
And the TSR has been lifted! 👍🙂
Very nice! 👍
A “plus 7” connection at Oxford is a tad ambitious, even for those that know the layout of the station. I certainly wouldn’t be relying on that connection.
I’d not realised a Sulzer powered Geep had been done by M-K until I read this thread. I wonder what it sounded like? A Google search suggests it was powered by an in-line 6-cyl, although not a 6-LDA, but might have sounded a bit like a BR 25? Will you fit sound? 😀
It’s amazing how running trains on a model railway can pass the time and take the mind off things!

I dread to think what its like over there these days!
Lovely! That bridge has some Cornwall vibes to my eye.
What better way for me to mark #InternationalWomensDay than with my one-off 'Petite Curie' scale model x-ray truck conversion, celebrating the amazing Marie Curie: www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...
I’ll be there this afternoon - I’ll come check it out 👍
It’s your fault for leaving it parked-up in a dodgy part of London! I’m surprised you didn’t find it on 12 piles of bricks 😂
That looks superb! 👌
Are you going to add your initials - top left - like the original did? At least that’s what I guess they are.
InterCity - nice. The two best HST liveries right there 👍
