Brandon Gill has been making more and more racist comments in interviews and on his FB feed for a while now. In that same clip, Gill brought up the damned lie about Haitians barbecuing pets, and accepted Benny's IQ statements as facts to be used to deny immigration to Haitians and Somalis.
The Timmverse walked that edge. It had alternate-universe Superman kill and lobotomize others. It had a prison execute a guy, on screen, just as he figured out Clark Kent was Superman. It had Superman PRETEND to kill bad guys to mess with a supervillain before ACTUALLY altering HIS brain.

I have questions.
Lots of questions.
Starting with, if the "critical minerals" are *in* China, how does building a facility in The Philippines "bypass Beijing's control" of them?

Thanks.
Question about "Teen Wolf".
I wasn't fond of the original movie but I've heard from social media that the series was tonally different. What do you think? If you disliked the movie will you dislike the series? Or is it kinda like 12 Monkeys or Stargate which took the movie idea but then modified it?

I'll admit, though, that a BAD doctoring of a photo is distracting. For anyone who knows birds, shortening a bird's tail like that must look terrible.

I went to a photography exhibit which explained how photographers have always lied with their cameras.
In the U.S. Civil War, photographers would rearrange corpses for more artistic shots, then paint the glass negative's sky black so it wouldn't look mottled when printed.
That stuck with me.

Many photos are doctored in some way. I do it myself.
I crop photos for better composition. Change exposure. Change sharpness. Adjust colors. Remove unwanted people.
And so on.
Here's my modified photo of The Nashville Parthenon next to the original.

"the furthest any human has ever been from their dog"
Suddenly had an idea: combine The Martian with every loyal dog movie ever made; he makes it back and what makes him smile with genuine joy is that after 250 million miles & 18 months, his dog, who has waited by the door every day, is ecstatic.
Being retired, on most days, I sleep 6 hours at night and then take a 2-3 hour doze in the afternoon.
Even if I skip the nap, I still sleep only 6 hours that night.
But, I feel rested and optimistic.
Although I'm not sure if the latter is "sleeping when I want" or "not at that GD job any more".
A number of my favorite shows did the same. I was a fan of the work of F&SF writers long before I knew who there were. I watched "Land of the Lost", which had hired David Gerrold, Ben Bova, Larry Niven, Norman Spinrad, and Theodore Sturgeon.
