Orcutt Shelley Miller add one more legendary name to the fold, paring up with The Jesus Lizard’s David Yow for a cover of the Beefheart classic “Hot Head.” As broiled & barbed as one might expect, a fastball of hot wax and thumbtacks that comes at the listener from all directions. bit.ly/4sBthRQ

Very sad that my alma mater is closing. Bad tidings for higher ed, liberal arts & free thinking. It was the only college that accepted me, a troubled student with promise, which they recognized & nurtured. My DIV III was on Sun Ra, Debussy, & exotica, the first stirrings of my dissertation & book.

I totally agree. But people point out his dad a bit more than his mom. This film is such a deep look at cross racial intimacy
