Im terrified of ants (its a stupid fear. Im aware) and I swear the ants know. Because every spring, no matter what we do, we get ants. And I'm always the one they bother/who notices first.
I just almost kool-aid man'd through my bathroom door, because i saw a single ant on my lightswitch.
My entire everything the last week has been Artemis II. One of the few *good* historical events ive gotten the opportunity to witness in my lifetime. I'm gonna have so much "Copy, Moonjoy" and similar artwork all over my house...
Eye check yesterday, new glasses and such. Discovered the "its probably nothing" spot in my eye from 1 1/2 years ago has grown.

Now i get to do a bunch of tests to find out *what kind* of growing spot i have *in my eye* (i need my body to put back some health issues, its too many.)
I am neck deep in research on large naturalistic terrariums. Specifically building them from scratch. Because I recently found myself the caretaker of a very large python that is only going to get larger and the enclosure they were brought to me in leaves much to be desired.
I love root vegetables so much. Like other veggies are nice, but parsnips? Turnips? Radishes? I could probably eat nothing but root veggies prepared in different ways forever and be content.
Because of my EDS I have like really soft "velvety" skin. (Which also happens to be very fragile) and every time somebody comments on how soft my skin is I have to fight the urge to respond "thanks. Its a disorder."
My younger rooster just crowed like nine times in a row. So I got up to check that there wasn't somebody in my driveway or a hawk or something. Nope. Hes yelling at an empty, lidded, bucket. While this is occurring my older rooster is just standing 3 feet from him staring, like "kid, chill."
In theory my partner will be replacing the subfloor in our kitchen this weekend. And trying to figure out the logistics of replacing the subfloor of a room that is full of appliances that actively need to be able to be used is *exhausting*
Had the audacity to use the muscles in my forearms yesterday and now both of my arms are *very* bruised. Mind you I didnt bump them or anything. I literally just put a shelf together with hand tools and apparently popped blood vessels. 🙄

Laying down, Heart rate was sitting at a steady 55ish bpm. And then i had the absolute *audacity* to sit up and drink some water and my heart rate was like "oh no! We are running? Oh no!" And jumped up to 104 bpm.
My body is a wreckage I have no choice but to dance in.
As somebody with ME/CFS, I desperately need my body to understand that *eating* is *not* enough of an exertion to completely freak out and start making me feel like I have the flu and was hit by a car all at once. That's overreaction at its finest my dude, chill. It was a handful of trailmix.
In a state of being half asleep and heavily brain fogged on top of that... I brushed my hair. And now I look like I got overly friendly with a light socket.
(My hair/hair type does not respond well to being brushed while dry. And its informing me of its displeasure at my thoughtless actions)
Just finished a book called "Stars Above the Never Sea" and its good. Its so so good. But I am *so mad* at this book. It ends on an *evil, hateful, hurtful, cruel* cliffhanger. The next book isn't set to be out for another month or something.
Im painfully reminded why I only read completed series.
So, this is beautiful, but im sleep deprived, fighting a migraine, and not wearing my glasses, so at first glance I *for some reason* thought this was a photograph of a *snail* 🤦♂️

I have four animal crossing villagers out and about right now and the only one not just walking around carrying a bunch of sticks is actively fishing. Is it stick day and nobody told me?
I have dyed my hair crazy colors for the first time in like... five years. And
1. I forgot how much I like how I look with multi color hair.
2. My hair is much longer now than it ever was when I dyed it regularly before and it took me *forever* to dye it at this length. 😬
I wish I could sort my e reader books by page count. Im trying to get through some of these unread books but it would go much quicker if I could read them starting with the shortest ones. 🙃
My husband, who never gets sick and we are pretty sure just *decided not to have covid* four years ago, is very sick. And somehow my boyfriend and I arent. And its wigging me out because I have a auto immune thing and if hes this sick and im not. What if im just not *yet*
Im about to have to put myself on a tiktok time out. Because my entire feed is book recs and my tbr already contains over 1300 books. I need to actually *read* what's already on the list instead of adding more every day 😬

Like... mid spring... or mid fall. Basically any "its not to hot or too cold, and theres not a lot of rain or wind or weather at all" sections of seasons. Because those dont make my body mad at me for not controlling the weather as much.
I just slept for like. 22 hours. I dont remember falling asleep. My body is so angry from laying in basically one position for almost 24 hours. Sometimes having partners who dont wake me up unless absolutely necessary (because I dont sleep enough) is frustrating. (Im not upset at them but oof.)
*That should be January. My brain decided the letters looked better in a different order.
