This looks so sick. I can’t wait!
A screenshot of the final four prompts from the game Matty Groves: “22. Who hurt Lord Daniel more, his wife or Matty Groves? 23. Does Lord Daniel's wife expect to die? 24. Why is Lord Daniel's wife unnamed? 25. Who survives the night?”
Read between the lines of an ancient folk song to create a story that is uniquely yours with my game Matty Groves.
It’s a really good time to be an Austin Walker appreciator.
When the first thing you do after waking up is to read the headlines, choose one: • You feel frightened by what is happening to people like you • You feel ashamed by what is happening to people different from you

Bird-watching is good
I’m setting up a solo game of Realis as a way to explore the sprawling sci-fi setting I’ve been working on

I’m starting into Seeing Like A State by James C. Scott after seeing C. Thi Nguyen reference it several times in The Score. I read Scott’s The Art of Not Being Governed a few years ago and loved. It really changed how I approach world-building by giving examples of how control is always resisted.
I’m so excited to play this.
It's that day again!!!
if a position of authority can be misused in this way, that position of authority should not exist. It's clearly not enough to simply change who is in that position, no more than praying that the next king be better than the last.
The only real change i’m making is to use something closer to BitD’s crewsheet rather than the shared Ship playbook because I’m keeping my players from leaving the planet for as long as possible.
I’m running a hacked-up version of Scum & Villainy today for some first time players as a way to intentionally build out background setting elements for a project I’m working on.
Today I got to play a Kingdom game about print journalists at the newspaper of record in a city constantly beset by the antics of super-powered heroes and villains. We managed to put together a really satisfying story so quickly. Great game imo
Some of my drawings which are clearly ripping off Clarke’s style.
I was a pretentious teen (shocker) and tried to read Faust at like 13. I liked it but missed the point.
Harry Clarke’s art changed my life though.
Falling Objects features what I self-flatteringly think is an excellent mechanic, which is “Point at them”. Several of the Hard Bargain costs include choosing another player for a bad thing to happen to, and the game instructs you to point at them to indicate who.

Hevel (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8) A season is set for everything, a time for every experience under heaven What is this? This is a conversational story-telling game based on a passage in the biblical book of Ecclesiastes. During the game, players work together to define a community and then describe that community experiencing a variety of events which demand the community to respond in different ways. This is the second Annotate Your Own Adventure game by Null and Void Games.
this is a society that hates children and hates the queer, of course it loves conversion therapy. bipartisan commitment to grinding down the young, to torturing them into doing whatever their official owners (parents, schools, the state) tell them to do
And that’s OKAY! Fucking around without ever finding out can be really fun and valuable!

I’ve got 5 games in this great bundle! Go support it!
Chamounix: Facing the Monster is inspired by Frankenstein and My Words to Victor Frankenstein above the Village of Chamounix: Performing Transgender Rage by Susan Stryker.
Each round the players work together as the creator to excuse their actions, and then take turns shredding those excuses
