I'll be honest, if BlueSky ever ends up becoming completely unusable thanks to the dev team's bullshit, I'm just gonna ditch public social media entirely and stick with Discord (or whatever else eventually fully replaces it) and Telegram. I'm too old and tired of all of this shit...

I really don't wanna go back to Mastodon... The "instance" system of that site is a complete mess and doesn't accomplish anything other than adding needless overcomplication.

I wouldn't be surprised. Since this "why" guy apparently seems to be more interested in acting shockingly unprofessional to everyone than actually doing development work on anything other than another unnecessary AI that no one asked for, I wouldn't rule it out.

The only thing that makes this site better than Twitter is the fact that it's not run by outspoken n@zis and blocking people actually works. That's it. Otherwise, it's pretty much got all of the same problems that Twitter has always had even before the rich manchild took it over.

Charging money for a ROM hack is only acceptable if its a physical repro cartridge for people who wanna have it in their collections. But even that's not really necessary unless you really want a dedicated cart just for that one hack that much since Everdrives are a thing.
