So #AvenueQ was great! It's been my favourite show for years and I'm so glad to see it back in the West End. The set is incredible, the updates to the material effective (if not always necessarily needed), and generally, it's just an absolute blast of a show. Made me very happy indeed.

I am so ready to watch my favourite show of all time in a brand new production in the West End! #AvenueQ
Well, my return to working on my second novel is moving along nicely so far. I'm currently re-reading and re-writing the first batch of chapters now that I think I've figured some of the thornier issues out, but I'm happy with the 12% of finished so far! Only 88% to go! ๐ #Writing #BookSky
In other news, just play any of the Mario Galaxy themes like Gusty Garden and I'm a happy bunny. ๐คฃ
Finally seen The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, and honestly, I had a lot of fun. It's far too rushed and shallow to be a great film, and there's elements here which could have been incredible. As it is, it's a fun 90 minutes in the Mario universe, and sometimes that can be enough. ๐

This year I'm determined to finally finish writing A Place Where We Belong! So, I've written a blog post about that moment of returning to a draft and what it means. This'll be the start of a series of blogs as I work my way through to finishing this second novel.

Had a wonderful time celebrating my adorable niece, Poppy, today! Can't believe she's already 6 weeks old! Could enjoy cuddles with her for hours. ๐ฅฐ
2025 was not the year I thought it was going to be. I have no clue what 2026 will hold. Iโve technically been here before with the world seeming bright and brilliant (see last January). So, Iโm terrified of what this year might bring. But, I have hope.

#Titanique was iconique. So incredibly, exceptionally stupid and utterly brilliant. Loved every second!
Last night I had the joy of seeing #RideTheCyclone at Southwark Playhouse Elephant. It was brilliantly funny, absolutely bonkers, and touchingly poignant. Loved it! ๐ข
Feeling very attacked right now. There are two shows that directly call me out as being old/ancient.
"When you're old like 32, you'll all remember Jamie New" - Everybody's Talking About Jamie
"He was ancient, like 32" - Ride the Cyclone
That's me on Wednesday. ๐คฃ
Enjoy!
Finally got to see #WickedForGood. They did a very good job of adapting a difficult second act and I cried as I hoped I would. Overall, a brilliant adaptation of a great musical.
Had a great time with #PokemonLegendsZA, but my god, the RNG on those special scans and the fact that Galarian Farfetch'd is only in one specific zone and that Milotic is impossible to get without trading. So, I think I'm done with it for now. Fun game, fun DLC, some odd decisions.
Today was magical. Got to meet my adorable niece Poppy. She's a perfect little bundle of joy and I can't wait for many more years of cuddles. Also can't wait to introduce her to theatre and books. โค๏ธ
Potentially? Might have been a bit later, but I know you were being extra careful for a while after restrictions had lifted.
Can't believe that was 3 years ago!
And that's a wrap on #PokemonLegendsZA! Still got the post-game to work my way through, but that was so much fun. There was a risk of the solo-location getting boring, but Lumiose is full of life and things are constantly happening. Plus, another top-tier finale. So glad the series is shining again!
Well #Zootopia2 was great! Consistently fun and engaging, some great bits of humour and heart, and just a damn good sequel to the original. Loved it! #Zootropolis2
Ok, Paddington The Musical is not needing to go so hard with this incredible villain song: www.youtube.com/watch?v=66e3...
Like, this is a full-on banger! I may need to get tickets to see Victoria Hamilton Barritt sing this live. My word.
Last night was an absolute whirlwind and I am so proud of what we managed to achieve. I had an absolute blast and it was an honour to work with such a lovely company!
Thanks to everyone at Your Chance Productions for letting me be part of this and getting to live my Dougal and Ogie dreams!
Someone's listened to and reviewed #TheBurningAsh #Audiobook and they loved it! Makes all the effort I put into making it worth it! Definitely brought a smile to my face today.

Well that was exceptional. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button was wonderful and I'm so glad I got to see it before it left the West End. It deserves a little life across the country and I'd kill to see it at the Minack. Utter perfection.
So excited to finally see The Curious Case of Benjamin Button in London. I've been wanting to see it for months and had to get here before it closed. ๐ฆโณ๐
One of my goals for 2025 was to turn my three published books into audiobooks. Today, that goal reaches its completion!
You can now listen to audiobook versions of all my books!

Bravo to the cast and crew of The Hunchback of Notre Dame In Concert ! Phenomenal performances of a truly stunning show. Not a perfect concert due to a few questionable and distracting costuming and staging decisions. But I loved it! ๐๐๐

It makes me excited to get back to work on my second novel, A Place Where We Belong, and to get on finishing this series that's been in my head since I was 14. It's going to be a long road, but so very worth it.
