On october 18th 2025 Bainbridge island says No kings! 10am at Gideon park. Stand with your community to spell out a huge no kings human banner. One week to go! Please rsvp for the human banner (so we can arrange the letters accordingly). July 17th 2025 Indivisible Bainbridge is sponsoring TWO EVENTS on July 17th to honor John Lewis! It has been 5 years since the loss of John Lewis, a remarkable, nonviolent, civil rights leader! Now more than ever, we need to follow his example, as civil rights are being stripped away, rule of law ignored, and services to every day Americans defunded! FOOD BANKS have lost federal funding and farmers have lost federal subsidies to donate fresh produce to FOOD BANKS, at the same time as jobs have been cut. Our FIRST EVENT is a FOOD DRIVE for Helpline House. Our SECOND EVENT is GOOD TROUBLE as we “Fill the PATH” with MESSAGES of the Country we envision! Please Join Us!

Getting your ticket before the event will save you time. There is also the option to head into Seattle to participate in an additional NO KINGS Event at Cal Anderson Park Noon-3pm.

After disembarking in Seattle we will return to Bainbridge on the 11:25am boat leaving Seattle.

Mid-way through the crossing, any who are interested will be walking SINGLE-FILE and SILENTLY through the main cabin area, led by our safety volunteers.

Because we’ll be outside with signs, keep in mind it will be windy! :) There is an elevator on the main deck to the sun deck for anyone who has trouble with stairs.

We encourage you to get your ticket before the event, get to the ferry early, and carpool if you can. Walk on the 10:25am boat and meet up top on the ferry sun deck
