The very vault tech Fallout shelters that the series is famous for are a direct response to the changed nature of war in the Fallout universe.

The entire Fallout universe has been irrevocably altered by nuclear proliferation. There are literal mini nukes and such scattered around the wasteland, all over the former USA. As far as the Fallout universe is considered, war did change. It changed everything.

Fallout rant: One thing that always bothered me about the #Fallout series is that its central theme, war never changes, is incorrect. The entire premise of the world is based on the idea that war changed forever once nuclear arms were introduced. The game series shows this with its very setting.

Wow! Now I got the narrative designer checking for me 😆. I feel like an ass now. No I haven't. Im still on the first planet and Im trying to infiltrate the Vox relay station. I just got to the town that got flooded during the war. I didn't even know there was an "order."

I really wanted to like "The Outer Worlds 2" but im really struggling. This whole choose between facists and corpraratists with no choice in between and no other factions is ruining the game for me.

Im a few hours into #TheOuterWorlds2 and so far, I'm not super impressed. Its ok but nothing impressive thus far. Even the factions are both terrible. So far it looks like I gotta choose between corporate overlords and facist overlords. I dont see other options yet.
