My brain feels like it’s being squeezed daily like an orange stuck in a time loop, endlessly waking up and being harvested for juice and pulp only to be discarded and realize that’s in fact not the end and it will just keep happening over and over.

One day, we'll be an ancient civilization. I enjoy imagining future cultures, comparing and contrasting the direct works of William Shakespeare with Ten Things I Hate About You as if they were separated by a decade or so.

Just realized today that when my family would sit back and say “oh im so glad you and your sister have each other” what they really meant was “I’m so glad you’ll play the parent so we don’t have to raise her.”
And honestly? Pretty fucked up.

💜 finished recovery from top surgery and returned to work with minimal issues

💜 got back into reading paper books (and loving them all)
💜 moved to a new apartment
💜 learned and accepted more about myself
💜 gotten firmer with my boundaries, especially with family
💜 survived 🏳️‍⚧️
