Ooh awesome, I'd love that! I'll send an email when I get home from work.

...for future reference when you have time/interest that is, I only caught the "jk" bit about a packed schedule at the end after hitting reply oops
Always interested here! Any of those WIP headshots from a couple months back could be converted into tamagochis if you're interested!
They are both great scholars of their respective fields! Hyden is always happy to meet a fellow intellectual ~
Aww I'm glad you're getting good use out of that shirt! I'm a little biased, but it's my favorite design of the bunch.
Haha very true!
Thank you so much for the kind words! I was absolutely going for a screenshot-y feel on this one.
Always love seeing a big dog burgers shirt in the wild! That burger looks delicious!
You're quite welcome! Thanks again for the initial drawing, and for your kind comments over the years as well!
The first half of a comic, drawn in a monochrome cartoon style with heavy black hatching. In the first panel, an anthro rat man opens a heavy wooden door. The man is dressed in a ~1900s-era sack suit. He is surrounded by the light of the outside, but the inside of the manor is drenched in deep shadow. The door sits beneath an archway crowned with the emblem of a heraldic sheild and a baron's coronet. In the second panel, the man ascends a flight of stairs. He uses a mote of light he has conjured from his palm to illuminate his surroundings: peeling wallpaper, dusty old painting, cobwebs. He's in a grand old manor, but a very neglected one. In the shadows, below his line of sight, there is another figure hidden in the shadows. His silhouette is that of another rat man, though rather than walking up the stairs he crouches and crawls, more animalistic, the lens of his glasses flashing like a predator's eyes in the dark. One can barely make out the fire poker in his hand. In the final pinal, the first rat man has drawn back the curtain of a bed. His expression is one of horror; despite being indoors, his breath gives off a chilly fog. He stares down at the silhouette; it looks like the figure of a woman at rest. Behind him, the glasses of his pursuer glint in the pitch darkness. Text boxes wind their way through all the panels, saying: "He knew he was not welcome. I had rid the manor of vermin before. Overthrown as patriach, he crept back as a thief, here to seize his 'entitlement;' my birthright. If he had not been stopped, he would have had me declared me. He would have taken my home away from me. He would have taken HER away from me."
SINS OF THE SON (1/2)
There is an infestation of rats in Northcrest manor. Which is the vermin and which is the exterminator depends on each one's point of view.
This one seems to have trouble following his instructions. He wanted "badass songs to listen to while you incinerate people with lightning bolts" and "theme music for sitting on a throne made of skulls" playlists, dang it! Not "songs to make you contemplate where your life went wrong!"
SKIP! SKIIIIP! I SAID SKIP, DAMN YOU!
He's a challenge to troll through many traditional means thanks to being nearly immune to embarrassment... but being reminded of *certain topics* (cough) is very *annoying* and can put him in a very bad mood.
I remember you sharing the headless pic, but I think this is the first time I've seen the others! The lil tail puff is making me smile, aww.
This thing was such a cool project! I'm still so honored you chose him as a subject.
The mystery has been solved! Thanks for letting me know (and for still being here years later, too!)
I still think the sculpture looks very cool personally! He's canonically supposed to look a bit "wolfish" (or donkey or llama-ish) in the face so it works.
Thank you! :D
Ey #PortfolioDay! My main deal is running something analogous to a webcomic about a washed-up evil wizard, but I also sell goodies at conventions and draw for funsies. My priorities are characters, color, angles, & atmosphere.
...Apparently, I use a lot of purple and blue.
There are 6 weeks left until Furlandia 2026!!!
If you want a Patron or Sponsor badge, you only have 2 weeks left.
Please make sure that your badge is PAID for before April 30th, or it will automatically convert to a regular attending badge.

I'm trying to make a gallery of commissions/gift art/etc but I'm realizing I failed to label a few files, including some really cool ones. D:
...Also trying to upload all the files at once crashed the gallery plugin. :I I may have a problem...
Does anyone know who made this lil sculpture? Someone made it on Twitter YEARS ago and I foolishly didn't include their username in the filename when I saved it. Reverse image search is only giving me pictures of the Sheriff of Nottingham, hah.
Yayyy I've been waiting with baited breath! Gonna polish up my application and throw together some new merch teaser pics and apply. :3
The monster ones were what first led me to your art, I think! That's the type of com I would be most interested in personally, though I'm sure they're a lot more of a pain in the butt than just drawing someone's existing design.
Some can handle the "if ppl ever get bored of my art or I fall behind my peers, I don't get to buy groceries" existential stress better than others. That's the big thing that kept me away from it as a main job myself. @_@ i want art to be an escape when I'm stressed, not the *source of* that stress.
it can be hard not to think "I wouldn't have this problem if I was a better artist. Others can get art jobs and afford to live but not me? There must be something wrong with my art, then. There must be something wrong with me..." (2/?)
I think the other struggle for a career artist is maintaining the spark even when you're getting turned down for jobs and facing harsh criticism and rejection. It's an unstable industry, and when you are facing that negativity while also being short on rent due to lack of contracts/clients, (1/?)
New enamel poins coming soon! The full hyena set is now in production and should be ready by early May. The striped hyena returns, joined by brand new brown and spotted hyenas. Each has its own plating finish. I'll keep you posted as I get more updates soon!
These are so cute! Love their little yellow eyes, so expressive!
People have always been super kind about my work, but Iโve struggled to actually sell it.
So Iโm trying something new: an auction starting at โฌ1.
