If only there were Jason Statham type beekeepers, they’d have been busy this last year or so but at least they’d have sorted this mess out!!

An oath to the Constitution means nothing if it’s not backed by courage when it counts!! An oath ignored is no better than no oath at all, time for those who swore to defend it to find that courage and save America, and the world, from this fascist who’s chipping away at the constitution daily

@donaldjtrump-maga.bsky.social and Vance are a fucking embarrassment to the human race and the quicker America rids the world of those two imbeciles the better, Russians patsies in the Oval Office bought by @elonmusk the Nazi arse

I only point out above as I believe we need to keep as close to the facts as we can, can’t call out misinformation if we do it ourselves, I try research posts, to try verify and if not right I will point it out, but not in a “your talking S” way, in a look it wasn’t x y z, sorry if that angers

Unbelievable!! You correct a post, due to wrong name being said, get called pedantic for doing so!! Poster then says who it actually was, in the ott retort to me (hint - not the name on the post) I point out that she’s even named the correct person in her retort to me, I’m blocked!!!

Don’t k ow why you think that, all I said was she didn’t propose it, because she didn’t, hell even in your ott response you said it was Alex Salmond (RIP). 🙄

Who’s being Pedantic?

It wasn’t Sturgeon that proposed it, but it was debated and rejected by uk gov, it was called the quadruple lock. It was the first time the uk gov overrode the Sewell convention which would require consent from devolved parliaments, citing it was constitutional so the uk gov had authority to do it

Imagine a democracy where you had 1 vote that you could change at any time.

You might get some actual democracy in such a system.

@pixelsofmark.bsky.social know your a busy man Mark, but guessing there’s no option of turning Xdefiant into a pay to play game, and give those who played it from the off a legacy discount so to speak, the game has such potential especially with COD struggling

'Scottish' Labour are a con. They have no policies, no influence and no job to do except acting as Westminster's goffers to keep Scots in England's imposed union. They deserve to be unelectable.

When you see those sitting in the seats of “power” then I’d say aye!! Quite ironic when the few racist/fascists I’ve worked with over the last year all said they support Trump as Kamala will bring ww3, my response, you people are soo thick and just walk away

I warned loads about this “scam” “legalise tax loop” and no one believed me, now they do with all that’s going on around them but with zero benefits to the towns

Kudos to Mick for saying it as it is 👌

With a similar population to Scotland too, it’s amazing how many of the smaller countries of the ‘West’ are doing soo well! It’s almost like a sign?

Economic concerns, of which currency was the main 1, with 47% seeing it as a major concern no plan or sufficient answers were given. It’s nothing to do with unionists, it’s to do with lessons learned, as the electorate will ask that question again, and clear & concise answers need to be given

1 year ago 0 0 1 0

100% agree, but if one of the big questions, like 2014, is currency, then you need to make it clear to people now what will happen. Ie ensure people understand that we don’t need England’s permission to use the £ through the transition, and what could be the end game plan for Scottish currency.

1 year ago 0 0 1 0

Which is fair enough, but people will need to have a solid understanding of what the currency plan is before the vote. Ie we will use £ until x yrs, during that period a transition to a Scottish pound will take place and this is how we will do that. Etc. At least it shows the electorate it’s planned

Yep it is simple, our own currency, now from the same hymn sheet, I’m sure that’s exactly what the Scottish Currency Group are working on now, if they have that sheet then we should all work off that.

There are key conversations from the 2014 which is guaranteed to happen again, currency being one of the main ones, it doesn’t matter what happens in 1 week or 10yrs in respect to the currency argument, an Indy country will have to have a plan in place, earlier that conversation had the better!

No frustration here boss, there doesn’t have to be pay for anything, the Indy supporters just need to all be singing from the same sheet, and speaking to the soft No’s, not saying a full out campaign on it, but if you lay the foundations now then the conversation when it comes is easier.

This is when we should be drip feeding the soft no’s what will happen when Indy happens, we can’t leave it until we know when there’s going to be an Indy vote, we need the info out now against all the arguments that were used in 2014, because they will use them again, one trick ponies!!

I’m with the new currency, just use the Scottish pound now, it’s not accepted in majority places in England now, seen as foreign except in Scotland. In seriousness though like Iona says we need to get this all butted up and everyone of same sheet, don’t want this to be an issue again on next vote

1 year ago 2 0 1 0

100% with you on that Iona 👌

My bad, apologies 🤦🏻‍♂️

I’d opt for the Euro, but I’ve had many a discussion and the No’s see that as given away monetary control to Brussels, and no matter the counter to their arguments nothing works (they’re stubborn) whereas using our own valid currency then they’d have no comeback, later the euro.

1 year ago 1 0 2 0

Sorry I didn’t say unable to use the pound, I just don’t think we need to, possibly during transition, but the soft No’s will only use that as an excuse ‘if you can’t go into Indy without your own currency what’s the point’! Need to find ways to shore these questions up tight so people see the plan

1 year ago 1 0 1 0

How do we force the SNP to use the election as a de facto independence vote too, ensuring that as long as there is a majority of Indy parties voted in, the negotiations start immediately for the separation of the leech from Scotland!! There must be a way to force their hand!!!
