the number one rule of making a mixtape is that any nick cave song must be immediately preceded or followed by a song he would absolutely hate

I know tumblr is imploding again when my bluesky feed gets active.
Photo of zine's cover, depicting the word Fallowtide spelled out in dead plants.
Page reading: Fallowtide (fal-oh-tahyd) Noun 1. A flexible holiday season, celebrated over a series of days or weeks, usually in winter. It is observed by lying fallow and generally being as unproductive as possible.
My new zine about the season of Fallowtide is free to download on itch! friend-crow.itch.io/fallowtide
Have you tried ebay? It's my go-to for fun printed button ups that don't cost a fortune. Only drawback is that many items arrive stinking of fabric softener.
Neat! I'm apparently writing a thing on foraging incense now, but I'll be sure to bother you when I'm ready to put together something about next-level crossroads shit!
It took me until now to notice the crow.
BTW would you ever be interested in contributing to/collaborating on a zine about crossroads magic?
Suddenly had to make a prayer candle for Saint Joan of the Crossroads. We go to her statue in Coe Circle to petition this aspect of Saint Joan (also the patron saint of cross-dressing).
Photo of a zine, with "you've heard of supernatural, now here's REGULAR-NATURAL!" and an image of a line of ants on the cover
Okay, here is my (very silly) first ever zine! Free to download, with versions for web and print.

I plan on posting free digital downloads of my first (very silly) zine tomorrow, but for some reason I'm more scared of posting it here were I have 57 followers than on tumblr where I have... well... more than that.
*stumbles onto bluesky for the first time in over a week*
I SENSE CROSSROADS POSTING
Man, lighting a symbol on fire is how you approach EVERYTHING ๐
(jk you're great)
Yes I am STILL on that Viridarium Umbris shit.
Sometimes I wonder why I am taking such detailed notes, since it takes forever, and then I start preparing for a ritual which references five prerequisites scattered throughout various chapters, and am grateful that I can just ctrl + f my notes.
Very tired of having to fight autocorrect about my wack archaic spellings.
Cat asking "you mean fucking rum?" (an edited version of the "you mean the fucking car?" comic)
"Spirits of Cane"
My wizard nerd friends all named themselves after occultists for the week, but I missed the part where we were choosing HATED occultists, so I'm Austin Osman Spare, 'cause I think he's neat.
An old red tome with the title Wack Archaic Spellings for Cringe Occultists
Apropos nothing ๐
It's mostly me yelling about Schulke's insufferable use of the English language, interspersed with "dammit, that's pretty good."
Considering using this account for liveblogging my reading of Viridarium Umbris, because my friends are probably getting tired of hearing me rant about it.
Yooo, I went to Mexico for the first time this year, too! Big fan.
Actually the romance novel duchess from Philly thing is kind of working for me. ๐ค
YOU NEED TO SPEND MORE TIME IN PHILLY AND REALLY LET IT SINK IN
IS THAT WHERE IT COMES FROM??
I wonder if this might be the effect of playing with someone who keeps complaining about their lack of slots and incessant need to produce lumber...
YOU CAN SEE THIS.... I DO NOT THINK I USED "LISTS" CORRECTLY....
Right now I'm basically treating this like I'm setting up a "go bag" to grab in case tumblr eventually implodes. In this case the bag just contains people I want to keep in touch with.
Plus I know I will be unhappy if I have to learn a new platform under duress.

This week's creatures!
FWIW I do feed the crows (not very often this time of year), but the bowl is empty or full of leaves and rainwater most of the time. In fact, I sometimes even remember to bring it inside when I'm not feeding the crows.
CLEARLY I have some catching up to do.
A minicomic I made to sell in little zine form at cons called "The Skin". It was inspired by an unhinged comment my wife made as we lulled at a 4-way intersection. Thanks wife!!
Spaaaaaade!
