If this man ends his career in any other way than wearing that blue and white #91, someone should be behind bars.

I feel like I’ve seen enough Fraser Minten to know that I want more 🍁
My love for Matthew Knies to increase once again
Another day, another million new people have joined Bluesky!
18M users? 🙂↔️ 18M friends 🙂↕️
Admiring this man from a distance for a while now, what a move this would be.
Please, do not make this 2.0. This is the start of something safe and something with enjoyment and connection at its roots, this isn’t an area to create division or ridicule anyone else regardless of your differences.
It’s also what made us need this very platform in the first place, finding time in your day to antagonise others online is embarrassing at any age, especially at 63.
Use this to find common ground, talk about hobbies, interests, the things you enjoy - not to argue or seek conflict with people.
I was really hoping this would be a politically neutral area, then I saw a 63 year old proclaim they continue using X to ‘take jabs’ and ‘wind up the opposition’
Labelling yourself a ‘mischief maker’ at 63 and remaining active on a platform for no other reason than to antagonise people is insane.
Leafs practice notes: Matthews to miss 6th consecutive game, Domi will play vs. Oilers, defence intact

My newborn just startled herself after passing wind during her sleep, I can’t begin to describe my elation about finally being able to coin the phrase ‘fartled’
I think I’m in love
It’s borderline liberating, like, is this what it used to feel like? If so then I’d literally forgotten.
Is this the light web?

It’s so refreshing to spend time in a feed that’s isn’t being artificially pumped full of right wing propaganda all the time
+1 to unhappy engineer, at work using the positivity of BlueSky to ward off a breakdown
Adulthood has taught me that I might’ve been the only person to watch this
Now I’ve confided into my phone screen about all of my issues with modern day workplaces - I think it’s time to move onto lighter things.
Among my venting I promise to sprinkle in some of my interests, my wholesome little family life, ice hockey, football, collectible cards and board games etc etc
@femi-oluwole.bsky.social I was unsure of continuing to engage online with people regarding politics, but I feel that we’ll get along just fine - have a follow my man.
If this platform isn’t proof that we can push back, then I don’t know what is.
Each and every one of you have stood up for what you believe and I’m completely here for it.
Don’t be the same dusty ass you were on Twitter. Post your hobbies, your passions, talk with each other, follow people back. There is no reason for someone with like 78k followers to be following a handful of people. Don’t act like you’re an elitist dipshit here. We are nice here, to each other.
Great to see humanity restoring its morale structure, offering support to those who need it, and offering positivity.
I was beginning to lose hope there for a second…
Hey that’s amazing man, you’ve definitely hurdled the biggest obstacle meaning you’ve absolutely got the strength to continue 👊🏼
I remember this feeling prior to taking my paternity leave, granted a far shorter period of leave.
I think focussing on how productive you’ve been in comparison to previous times, to a period growing another human is extremely unfair on yourself.
But you’re valid and not alone in how you feel🙏🏼
I can only apologise for venting today regarding working standard and support for employees.
It’s a sensitive subject and striving for a mentally safe workspace, as well and ensuring support for those around us, is something we should all be guaranteed.
Rant over - I swear.
Poor mental health accounts for more than half of all work-related illnesses. Around 51% of long-term sick leave is due to stress, depression, or anxiety.
A third of managers feel out of their depth supporting their team with mental health concerns.
Combined, these two points are eye-opening.
If a job advertised a role and the only duty of that role was to be miserable, anxious or stressed, but guaranteed you a living wage, the applications would be very few.
Yet existing jobs that become mentally taxing go under the radar.
Don’t sell your mental wellbeing.
Something I’ve realised after becoming a father, is that it’s easy to be tempted to remain in a workplace that mistreats you.
Any behaviour that has a negative effect on your mental health might be accepted under duress, at a fear of equally negative effects by not having the income.
I wish I could see trend data relating to people’s mental wellbeing.
I think you’d see a steady rise in illnesses such a depression, anxiety and stress, solely caused by the emotional toll of simply living.
It seems as though people take more pleasure than ever in causing harm to one another.
