This mystery cetacean passed Hunstanton Cliffs this am (c0800hrs), the dorsal broke the surface about eight times during its slow movement north. Any thoughts #CarlChapman

The morning at Snettisham produced this colour-ringed juv Peregrine, while the afternoon gave me the best views I've had of the Red-backed Shrike at Thornham.

That Goshawk sounds great hunting in open countryside.

Scarce Bordered Straw - an overdue addition to the garden list overnight, along with the first Pink-barred Sallow, and the Delicate. Overall nos down on previous nights, odd, it felt good at dusk, mild and cloudy.

A nice addition to the garden list, Cassida vittata a lovely tortoise beetle in Snettisham. May have come with garden plants from Holme Dunes, still, great find from Ms Jones.
