We were at the Necronomi'con convention this week-end!
It was exhausting but a lot of fun too, as usual
We exposed Siaty's Return, but also a playable prototype of Sisyphus Inc. !
(Sorry for the photo's colors, we spent 2 days under red lights so we have to correct all our shots.)

As for official translations, the post suggests we should not hope for it to ever happen
It's not hopeless but it would seem overoptimistic to me to believe there will be one
He'd better make his game unplayable for a huge part of the world than trust professional translators to adapt "his vision"
That kind of goes with my point. He is not a small part of a big machine. He is the one in charge and he makes the decisions.
And he said himself that there is no translation because he wants to control it. If he wanted the game to be translated, it would be.
And he has waay enough money to do so.

When I discovered there was no translation except jp, I felt betrayed
He sits on millions but still relies on his community to translate his game for free?

The first birthday of Siaty's Return is in just a month, so we are preparing an anniversary update for our very first game!
The full extent of the update is still unknown even to us but it will address as many known problems as we can solve
So first, Siaty's Return will now have difficulty modes 😁

HK c'est super classique, même pour l'époque y a peu d'originalité. Par contre c'est super propre
Là ca tente/repompe des nouvelles choses, mais ca se prend quasi tout le temps les pieds dans le tapis
J'ai un peu la même hot take
Le jeu à d'énormes qualités clairement, mais aussi d'énormes soucis que je peux pas pardonner à une équipe expérimentée qui a temps et budget infinis
Ca donne l'impression qu'ils ont fait ce qui leur plaisait sans trop se soucier de l'expérience créée
