If something is 1 dollar and you add 3% margin- that is upside. When that same item goes up to 2 dollars- grocery stores pass that cost to customers & that same 3% yields more $ for the grocery chain. Profit & profit margins are not the same… Grocery chains have been making huge profits in ON.

This is such a bad take- the US is not immune to aviation accidents-any mixup (small or big) can lead to a tragic outcome. Canadian pilots are equally well trained & the AC pilots were able to bring the plane down with all passengers surviving. That is a testament to their skills.

The pilots are heroes- the fact that the crew and passengers were alive after this crash are a testament to them and their training. I feel for the families of the 2 pilots 💔

Ontario is the most populous province in Canada- and we currently spend the least on healthcare (per capita). So additional cuts by Ford seems on brand. Why people in Ontario keep voting against their own interests is mind boggling 😳

I think the people who are protesting are angry that US freedoms are being trampled. A great country- once the land of the free- the country offering the American dream- the country that would support democracy and peace around the world is crumbling… Politics and greed are driving this.

Yes indeed! Hoping that NATO would step up to help if Canada were invaded. The same hope would come into play if Greenland were invaded by Trump… his focus on the Monroe Doctrine is certainly unsettling. His unhinged behaviour and complete Republican capitulation adds to the uncertainty.
