As we near the NFL Draft in Pittsburgh, Alan Saunders joined me on “Mike Drop” to discuss what the Steelers need to accomplish, what he expects to happen and how much Aaron Rodgers’ decision even matters.

Thousands of people are about to discover that Pittsburgh is a very underrated city, especially when the weather is warm.
There are going to be so many people disappointed when the Steelers don't draft Ty Simpson. He doesn't fit what Mike McCarthy has said he wants in a quarterback and he will likely be gone by the time the Steelers actually look at any quarterbacks.
The Hounds do not play in the top league in their sport. The Steelers, Penguins and Pirates do. That’s just the case.
Since Pittsburgh apparently needs this clarified, the Riverhounds are a professional sports team. HOWEVER, they are not a MAJOR professional team.
Any graphics or comments excluding them from “professional” teams is wrong, but not if just focusing on the “major” pro teams.
Billy Donovan stepping down and getting away from the Bulls is the best thing for him. The Bulls haven't been able to put together a clear vision and have been stuck in purgatory as mediocre (the worst spot to be in the NBA) for way too long.
Dan Muse has done a great job getting this Penguins team to exceed expectations in his first year, but Rick Tocchet is taking him to school in this series.
Literally everything that needed to happen for the Flyers to win this series has been happening.
I feel like this is a pretty reasonable opinion.
Gotta love Erik Karlsson’s honesty.
The Flyers holding the Penguins to only two freaking shots in the first period, the lowest total for the franchise since 2000, is crazy.
Art Rooney II publicly said he needed a decision by the draft. Even if he was the only one told, he gave Aaron Rodgers a date to let him know. Rodgers clearly doesn’t respect that deadline at all. The Steelers now need to grow a spine and tell him they are moving on.
For anyone who believes Buffalo is cursed, the Sabres just won a game in the exact way to break a curse or disprove one.
You act like I need to prove myself to you. WWE also doesn’t care as well. WWE is laughing that this is even being discussed.
Saying casual fans don’t exist does not make it so as if you are the all knowing of it. Acting like whatever your opinion is fact is ignorant. Be better in the future.
Alex Highsmith might be the most underrated Steeler from recent years. Trading him would only make sense if you’re going to do a full rebuild.
They may not be tuning in every week but watched this weekend. That is very casual. WWE doesn’t need to focus on fans watching every week. They’re locked for Mania no matter what.
There are people who just watch big events. Acting like the only Mania viewers are those watching every week is crazy.
The point is they get what they want out of McAfee. He doesn’t need to spike tons of numbers all on his own to make him worth it. Those trying to justify complaining to me on multiple socials right now are naive and don’t matter.
The idea that he hurts their business and that anyone complaining matters is silly. That’s the main point, not how much McAfee moves the needle to a big event bringing in more fans than watch weekly no matter what. Those complaining watched.
The WWE got what they wanted out of using McAfee. Arguing the definition of a casual fan is completely switching the topic and not relevant to them. The WWE is laughing at people freaking out about McAfee. They don’t matter to them.
Throughout history, big events and Mania drawing better numbers than a normal Raw shows there are people who only watch the bigger shows etc than watch every week.
