Today I reflected on progress we need to see this year - including @unccd.bsky.social, @unbiodiversity.bsky.social and UNFCCC COPs - #PlasticsTreaty latest, as well as environmental impacts from conflict-related damage.

Pleased to meet Ambassador Julio Cordano of Chile, who was recently elected as the new Chair of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee (INC) working to agree a #PlasticsTreaty.

The Government of Kenya, UNEP, and @un-habitat.bsky.social have launched a US$5.2 million project funded by a @thegef.bsky.social grant to help transform Nairobi into a model of low-carbon, climate-resilient, and nature-positive urban development.
