It was indeed only a matter of time, and when I redecorated a starter house the game crashed when I went to save. 🥲

Hourly Comic Day Page 1, very scrappily drawn. 6.30am: In bed playing Pokemon Trading Card Game on phone. Oblivious to the fact that it is Hourly Comic Day. Wearing a tie dye Mandy t-shirt as a pyjama top. 7.30am: Staring at Norrie like a creeper. Still oblivious to the Hourly Comic Day of it all. 8something: Luna (cat) peeking around the corner of the door frame judgementally while I get ready. 9.30am: Me considering "Do I get The Sims 1 + 2??" which has just been rereleased. I will. It's only a matter of time. 10.15am: Norrie chilling on the couch with Luna, me with Tiny on the cuddle chair. The sound of Robbie Williams' "Millenium" comes from Youtube on the TV. We watch a lot of 90s/00s pop videos, which are now considered old to some people. 10.30am: Walking outside in the freezing cold, messaging Nel to ask what people wear at the theatre. I'm still oblivious to it being Hourly Comic Day Meanwhile, in my brain: Two little doofy representations of brain stuff converse about sending me a signal that it is in fact Hourly Comic Day. "Sir, I am preparing the reminder." "Jolly good". Both brain stuffs have glasses, and one has a moustache.

Hourly Comic Day Page 2, still very scrappily drawn. 10.41am: DOH. (A loud thought, not said out loud). 10.42am: I've realised what day it is. I'm making a :< face, as I realise I am 1. Outside, 2. Without paper, and 3. Without pen or pencil to draw with. 10.45am: I quickly move past this revelation onto more important matters - what is "Rebecca core"? The latest chain post on Bluesky is people posting photos of characters that are like them. I have many thoughts on this. 11ish: I arrive at my Dad's house. He asks how I am feeling, and I say "Good!" My uncle and my future sister-in-law arrive soon after. 11.48am: We eat lunch - chicken stew with mash. Dad goes against his cardinal rule of not eating lunch before 12pm, because they have things to do. I'm just here for food! 12.50pm: My uncle doesn't realise he's not giving me a lift home, so I go to the driver's seat and open his door to say goodbye. 1.10pm: I invade Norrie's office while he is doing a proper drawings to have a moan about comics. The cats also invade because they've heard me arrive home, but not seen me yet. A travesty!

Hourly Comic Day Page 3, drawn at a weird angle so the panel borders are even wonkier than the previous two pages! 2pm-4pm: Three panels. Panel 1: Luna looking VERY sad, saying "LOVE ME!". She didn't like me depriving her of my lap to draw hourlies. Panel 2: Relaxing with Coral Island, finishing a podcast episode (Why Won't You Date Me), and eating Proper Chips. I don't really get anywhere with any of it, because... Panel 3: I fall asleep. Relaxing makes me pass out. Turning off the TV specifically to have a nap makes me wide awake. It's a curse! Now: A swirly pattern with the caption "After the medical drama of the past couple of weeks, I am grateful for the mundane." Last panel: Cuddled up on the couch with the cats. "It's reminded me of what really matters." (Cats matter the most. This message was brought to you by Luna and is endorsed by Tiny, who disagrees but wouldn't dare to go against Luna's wishes. She would actually say that biscuits matter the most.)

It's Hourly Comic Day! I spent quite a bit of this week wondering how dramatically different today's hourlies might be because of fun medical reasons, then straight up forgot what today was for a few hours.

Two. We had a fax machine that my mum used for work, and I'd watch my sister tape things off the radio. We also didn't have a Blockbuster, but I rented videos from Global Video and a wee bootleg place where I think the guy just rented out his movie collection!

My to read/watch piles of comics and books and movies are quite frankly out of control, but I have been busy and sleepy this year! I did lots.

I had a brief flurry of doing finished doodles a few months back. 🚀🌈

I listened to Sigur Rós a LOT during dark periods to the point that I now can't listen to them at all. It's not their fault. 😅

This was hard! Winter for me generally equals the sads and I tend to avoid listening to music that evokes the sads cuz it makes me sad (deep, I know). Bits of Skyrim and Light Song are in my regular rotation though.
