Been observing twitter about the Charlie Kirk shooter. Its interesting to see how this plays out. From everything I can see its clear that Tyler Robinson is a groyper or at least in that general category of highly online, irony poisoned, male loneliness epidemic victims.

this centrist impulse to whitewash who Kirk was, and the complicity in it of Democratic governors like Newsom, Polis, and Shapiro, might be the most dangerous part of this so far.

Ezra Klein is trying in this column to argue that Kirk was doing politics correctly if you just ignore the content of what he was advocating. That he was contributing to American democracy by arguing civilly for the subjugation of women, gay people, trans people. It simply doesn’t work.
