I'm not a "windows fan". I'm just a windows user who never had any issue with the OS like 99% of users. Also I'm an illustrator too and still, no problem. Every answer so far is "windows doesn't allow me to do something that could break the OS if someone with no knowledge touched it so it's bad".

Yes, those are bad, but that's not what we're talking about here.

So the problems only arise when people try to "fiddle" with stuff. Which again, the vast majority of users simply do not do.

Thanks ! But I think it doesn't quite work yet ^^ I have the "edit" button, but when uploading new artwork, it just sends me back to the HoD mainpage without updating the listing

Thanks a lot! I have a couple new artworks I'd like to add there ^^

okay real question... why is it atrocious exactly ? Aside from the data security thing, I've used windows for years and never had any issue. In fact, I think the vast majority of users never had any problems with it

Heart of Daggers not only helps players and GMs but also artists ! And guess what ? I have a page there too !

So let's share this post and help each other spread TTRPG and art !

I'm already there ^^

Quick question though, how can I edit my page ?

Why is it that whenever a client asks me for a huge complex commissions on a subject I never did before I'm like "hell yeah ! I can do it !"

But when I think about a slightly more complex than usual piece for myself I'm like "I don't know if I can do it..."

Freaking brain .....

moody illustration of a woman in a flowing white dress standing in fog, seen from behind. she holds a thin sword at her side with blood dripping from the blade into the water around her feet. the scene is muted and atmospheric. soft light and the outline of tall grass frames the edges.

the blood clings to you, i've learned.

all those little choices, all those lives. you cannot quantify the guilt; no matter how many years yawn on. it clings to you.

it clings.

Happy Birthday, Dehya!

Being a mercenary's no easy life, but if you're serious about it, I can teach you a few things.
Here, take this wooden sword. We'll start with the basics: stamina. First, ten laps around those Ajilenakh Nut trees...

"The Magician" from the Vampire's Tale Tarot coming Autumn 2026 from Llewellyn Worldwide. The illustration depicts a female vampire holding a wand upwards while standing at a table holding a cup, dagger, and cards. A blood pentagram is on the floor in front of her.

This is case of “Same Character, different tools”

To the left is one I drew on my phone with Ibis Paint X.

To the right is one I drew on my tablet with Clip Studio Paint.

So, can you actually tell much of a difference in quality?

A bit yeah. Though I wasn't really worried, I think I could find a job quite easily if needed

I was mostly pissed off and mentally exhausted by the constant HR bullshit

GOOD NEWS PEOPLE
I will not be losing my job! After meeting with my boss, I will keep my shitty pay job for as long as I like.

Still looking for better jobs but no deadline anymore.

Though I'm still open to commissions 😁

A massive thanks to all who shared my previous post, you're the best !

Hey artists QRP with your sketch vs final !

2 weeks ago 29 4 1 1

Yeah but it just feels weird sometimes like "I already posted and reposted this a couple times... Shouldn't I post something else ?"

Though I 100% use the same artwork I love most for artshare and QRT post 😁

THIS
So much this

And don't get me wrong, I love to see the likes going up but.... yeah a comment just feels even better

2 weeks ago 1 0 1 0

Imma be so fuckin honest.

Y'all need to comment more cuz it fuckin bothers me to no end when I see a gorgeous art with a lot of likes and reposts but zero comments like please just say ANYTHING.

Y'all do not understand how much comments mean to us.

It takes just a few seconds and costs nothing.

Honestly I wish I would repost my drawing 7384 times and I know that logically I should if I want to grow my community... but I feel like that would annoy a lot of people xD (even though realistically it most likely wouldn't)

Finally done with my last commission (meaning I have slots open now so go check my pinned post !)

Imo I really nailed the color dynamic and texture overall :D I would've used rougher gems but the client wanted faceted ^^
