Worked on revisions for seven hours today. To summarize in Magic 8 Ball: Outlook good. 🙌

Beautiful portrait.
Eschew AI and create your own work. (What, like it’s hard?)
This is awesome, and a master class in How to End a Paragraph.
I look forward to learning more about this curious fellow. Will blame or thank you later.
Congratulations! Can’t wait to read it.
Yesterday I wrote a bowling alley scene (nachos and all). Then heard Charlie Musselwhite, Jimmie Vaughan, and Kenny Wayne Shepherd play—live, by the Bay, in beautiful weather. Met a few new people. Ate some fine BBQ from Dre’s Place. Yesterday was a good day—today is a new day.
“You look like you’re cold,” Twix said. “You don’t even have a hoodie.”
Yeah, and then on Sunday we could watch a new Sopranos episode.
As the Brits say, brilliant. 🙌
In the Homicide: New York intro, they show the Manhattan map sideways—Inwood on the left, the Battery on the right. Drives me nuts. I understand that they’re showing the 2 squad areas, Manhattan North and South, but the labels could be stacked rather than side-by-side.

Five shows to get to know me:
Maverick
Top Cat
Alfred Hitchcock Presents
Soul Train
The Man From U.N.C.L.E.
Good luck btw! Here’s to acceptance!! 🎰
It was bemusing. I wanted to say, maybe you go first?

Is it the place whose form rejection letter says “Please don’t stop writing simply because we’re rejecting you”? Because I’m kind of hoping it is.
I hate it, except when I love it.
NYC in the ‘70s? I lived on the LES and in Chelsea in ‘71 and can attest: this (from the OP) is not a Serious Post.

There is no “better” here. A team of Bonobos would write a more effective message.

Sorry, Joe Senior, Jules, and Mallory. You’re getting replaced by Timmy, Tommy, and Bob.
One of Wilkinson’s best, too. And Tony Gilroy’s screenplay is a fantastic read.
lmao, thanks for this 🙌
Great piece on three “un-homely,” unsettling films. Bravo! 👏
