Hooray for the impending end of a saga!

Get yourself a lil snack as a reward!
Ironically, my stapler from Staples is the only one that sucks at stapling. Darn thing never quite crimps the staples, and they're always at least half-loose.
Check out the Benu Tessera collection!
I love giving away a pen, and this time I get to give away 3!
Totally. A couple of them. Levenger made a version called the “L-tech” and the new Rhodia fountain pen seems like a descendent of the line, too.
No fountain pens for him. 🚫 No pen deserves that kind of punishment.
Those are the best permanent markers.
Wanna see what I picked up at the Atlanta Fountain Pen Show this year? Check that out here:

ATEEZ was amazing. They kinda always are.
Yeah, those pockets are weirdly big. That might encroach on the central bottle pocket, though.
lol, I’m willing to try and cram stuff in there. OP, what do you want to carry??
Yeah. It sucks. I haven’t written Lamy off completely (maybe I should?), but you’ll not catch me buying any HP crap. 😒
NASA isn't why the US doesn't have universal healthcare, or a social safety net. The US doesn't have those things because politicians with the power to provide them choose specifically not to (with varying levels of support from voters). Enthusiasm for human spaceflight doesn't drive that choice.
Moleskine is wildly inconsistent. One page will be kinda okay, and the next will feather and bleed with anything wetter than a pencil. 😵💫
Rhodia/CF is very good. I find CF paper to be a little too slick for me, but many love it.
Hilarious that Moleskine would do a fountain pen collab when their paper is absolutely unsuited for it. 😆
I had to use it for a couple of years in grade school, but I dropped it as soon as I was allowed to. My mixed writing is totally legible, unlike the cursive I see so many people using. I can usually decipher it, but it's always harder to read. Of course, some people write beautifully. But not most.
I also wrote my notes by hand (and still do), but I did fine without cursive. 🤷🏼♂️
Check out my review of the Opus 88 Omar in Milk Tea! I've always liked these Japanese-style eyedropper pens. They've got nice nibs, a large ink capacity, and the price point is very reasonable. Also, I'm a sucker for tea or coffee themed fountain pens.
This is a smear of reddish, wine-ish ink in on a notebook page.
The Atlanta Fountain Pen Show has an exclusive ink from Franklin-Christoph this year, and it’s a pretty sort of wine-rose color. Here’s a quick swatch in my pen show notebook:
Anyone else going to be at the show this weekend??
Cool. I’ve been meaning to give it a try, but 😵💫😵💫
You don’t find it to be too light? I have a bottle, but I haven’t gotten to it yet because it looked kinda pale.
There is no such thing as “having too many pens inked” unless you’re out of pens. Then there’s an obvious fix. 😅
Huh. I don’t think I’ve ever been taught that it was faster. I hate some cursive letter-forms, so I just use an amalgam of different letter-forms that I like the look of.
So many people put cursive on a pedestal, and I don’t get it. I think the original advantage was for quills or dip pens?
I have the Wren and the Lumos Pro Duo, and they’re excellent. They don’t dry out, and the tips are replaceable when they wear out. You will probably want to get some extra ink reservoirs, but they are inexpensive, too.
Sometimes you've just gotta try out a subscription box!

It’s totally possible. 😆 Just gotta put the pen in the ink and not your fingers.
Yeah, fountain pens shouldn’t feel like nails on a chalkboard. They should be smooth and write with very, very little pressure.
And you don’t need to have any particular sort of handwriting to use them. My ADHD is very pleased by being able to switch inks and nib styles at the drop of a hat. YMMV
