Alternative Cinema, distributor of my catalog titles, split with its digital partner, Vision Films, and most of my early films have vanished from tubi, which makes them more or less unavailable except for physical media (and KILLER RACK is OOP). Oddly, NAKED FEAR is still up. #film #cultfilms

I spent the last few weeks as Unit Production Manager on a Fred Olen Ray Christmas movie produced by Dan Golden. This was my third or fourth time working with Fred, who has directed 169 (credited) films, and my second with Dan, who produced 10 last year alone. I had a good time. #film #filmmaking

False optimism alarm: plex only sends viewers to Tubi or to Prime (which sells the download).

I'm happy to see that my horror comedy KILLER RACK is now available on plex in addition to tubi. Yes, it's about Lovecraftian breast implants with "a hunger for human flesh" but it's also a sweet rom-com about positive body image, told in the Zucker Bros. style of puns and sight gags. #film

We're all influenced by the world around us, I'm not casting aspersions. But now I want to see BETTER LIFE because the filmmaker of that sued the team behind TOGETHER for plagiarism. In any case, I recommend TOGETHER. Check it out, and then check out my films on Tubi.

I started seeing similarities to my films SLIME CITY and SLIME CITY MASSACRE 10 mins into TOGETHER and they didn't stop (I also recognized bits from ALTERED STATES and SOCIETY). Unmistakable, in my mind. I'm glad my micro-budget work from decades ago inspires filmmakers capable of raising millions.

I watched IF I HAD LEGS I'D KICK YOU, which depressed me even more than ANNIVERSARY did. As much as I complain about a lack of films aimed at adults, surprisingly challenging films are being produced. Brilliant but upsetting, worth seeing, for sure.
