For streets and alleyways so full of infected, It's grown dead silent, like a predator in the forest. Valkenhayn is agitated; he nearly took the glass out of a storefront window not long ago. He's convinced something was inside, but when I checked the room, it was empty. Just overturned furniture and old bloodstains. I didn't see a thing. It’s possible he’s just reacting to the scent of the dead, but he’s usually more composed than this. Concerning. These alleyways feel like they go on forever, but we're nearing the Silph Co. Building. If the police have truly have barricaded , I’ll need to find a way in that doesn't involve a frontal assault. I'll have to watch my next steps for what Valkenhayn is agitated over.

Oct 3 We escaped Viridian City after there was some sort of incident with a Silph Co truck. The news is calling it a "leak", but seeing what it did to the nearby Pidgey and Rattata, I'm glad we left when we did. Oct 4 Charmander caught a stray bite near the city limits, he's been quiet since we've made it to the woods, the bite looks pretty gnarly. I tried to clean his wound, but he snapped at me, I'm sure he didn't mean to, but he got me right on the palm, and now I have a fever. Fuck. Oct 6 It's so quiet now, Charmander 's flame is flickering, and starting to smell like sulfur. The skin around my bite is starting to flake like his, what the hell is happening to us? Oct 8 I've been so itchy, my skin is falling off in flakes. Charmander is looking the same, like he wants to bite me, but it's a blank, unblinking stare. I wanted to get us help, but I can't find my way out of this forest. Oct 10 Charmander bite ugly itchy lady we seened, so ugly we kill her. Tasty.
