Fennel leaves were added as a garnish, and I munched on them while cooking, enjoying their sweet, licorice-like flavour.
A pot of fish soup with its creamy red broth, garnished with fennel leaves.
A spoonful of soup, with a chunk of cod and thinly sliced fennel bulb.
Idag tillagade jag en fisksoppa med torsk.
A fish soup with Pacific cod, fennel, and onion in a tomato base with creme fraiche.
I love seafood and I often use canned fish in recipes for the convenience, but today was my first time cooking fresh fish.
i sewed the first couple panels of fur :3
I'm doing his ears first since that's the most likely part to not be symmetric, and if so I'd like to find out sooner rather than later
A painting of 2 people at a ramen shop, one of them holds up a small anthropomorphic racoon dog. in the back behind the counter waves the cook.
Happy photo.
I love the life and character you put into scenes like this, both in the inanimate details of the environments and in the humans and critters you paint.
exciting progress this week!
the head fits much better after the adjustments, and i finished taping and drawing the patterns
i posed him on a very high tech mannequin made from a trash bin and a vase and lots of duct tape
next step is to cut out the fur... all 48 panels of it
I took photos at the towering Hwy 280 overpass before, but this time I found standing farther back enhances the sense of scale.
Some scenes around Cryatal Springs Reservoir
Another Taiga ‼️🌲🐺🌲
I love the snowy pics and the wolf's cool greys and reds/reddish browns coordinate well with the indirectly lit snowy setting and distant golden sunlit areas.
Yeah, the verticality of SF's streets is fun. I agree with Kilte on Twin Peaks. Telegraph Hill is also great for walking, and one of the city's best cafes imo is there (Caffe Trieste, which is also not far from a neat bookstore, City Lights bookstore).
Happy birthday! 🦊🎈
I assumed that was just the colour of the walnuts heh. I cooked with walnut milk once before and vaguely recall similar hue, though perhaps this one has cool skew
Jag tycker om valnötter, och lax är alltid god!
It was so good. I'd go there again!
Ja, det vore roligt om de hade alla sorters gosadjuren!
It was neat to see that one of the things being projected on the walls was a digital painting timelapse.
Some creature encounters at Frolic last weekend, including @yote.gay, @redwoodwolf.bsky.social, and @sergal.top.
It was fun to find with @flinttheraccoon.bsky.social and other critters that pizza was obtainable around the block as late as after 01.00.
Pickles on a garlicky pizza tasted great.
First garnets in a long while. Almandine or Spessartine, not sure
Åh, those are some pretty little crystals ^^
This is cute. I also like the bucolic setting. The golden hill with green trees reminds me of some of the landscapes of Marin and Sonoma counties in California in the Summer.
Some boxy architecture at the LINQ, and a sunset view of Las Vegas from Alexis Park.
Teriyaki chicken and onions at the Foppenyaki hosted by @tylerthefox.com and other critters.
I crossed paths with several other cross foxes throughout LVFC, including Fynn, who I also encountered at FC this year 🦊
I also met Reppo, a Finish fox with whom I could speak some Swedish and who introduced @flinttheraccoon.bsky.social and I to Salmiakki Koskenkorva.
Beyond the wingtip of a Boeing 737-9MAX, another airplane takes flight. Centered in the background is San Bruno Mountain, flanked by a heavy fog from the west.
Immediately after landing at SFO today I watched as another airplane took off behind us and was able to time a photograph.
It was nice to see the familiar landscape and marine fog layer again after the weekend away.
A view of the wing of a Boeing 737-9MAX above the clouds as the plane flies over Death Valley. Not very far beyond the wing's tip is a linear cloud that appears to be the contrail of another aircraft.
A view of Mono Lake in the desert east of the snow-covered Sierra Nevada Mountains.
The Sierra Nevada Mountains are covered in snow.
The salt ponds of the San Francisco Bay are viewed as the plane descends for a landing at SFO. The ponds are of various colors including reddish brown, dark green, and yellowish green.
I was invited by @flinttheraccoon.bsky.social on a flight to LVFC, something I'd not imagined more than a month ago, with my only other flight being mostly beyond memory in distant childhood. It was a magical experience.
Det är väldigt en vacker utsikt över staden
Birthday.
