Standard takeoff for the 787-8 is 8500ft, so used an extra 3000ft of runway. Hard to determine if the flaps were in the correct position but it was clear from the moment the aircraft rotated that the speed wasn't there. To me the engines sounded strange as they passed the person filming.

I think the problem is he's inherited quite a few bad players, couple that with him preferring a system that doesn't have players that suit it and it's no wonder the results aren't there. He should switch to a more traditional 4-4-2 which is what RvN played until he has the players for a 3-4-3.
