honestly I'm just kinda rambling at this point but I hope you guys get what I mean. I just put a lot lot lot lot lot lot lot of thought into dave and bambi. If you guys all knew me personally you'd probably get tired of me talking about it.

This all goes to say THIS DOESNT MEAN IM GUTTING OR CUTTING OUT ALL SADNESS AND DESPAIR THAT WAS ONCE PRESENT IN DAVE AND BAMBI! With the new lore, we're trying to re-approach everything with a bit of a balance. There will be funny moments but also sad moments. I think we've done well with it so far

It's been a little stressful doing all this crazy stuff like flipping the lore on its head as well as updating the mod a ton but I believe its for the better, and I've honestly been having a lot of fun with it 🧐.

This intentional and thought out tonal shift is why so much stuff has been changing in the DAVE AND BAMBI UNIVERSE! I know what I want to do, and everyone on the team knows what they want to do, so we're doing it without compromising.

There has been an intentional tonal shift ever since Dave and Bambi Volume 1 Ive heavily pushed for. I've really moved away from a lot of the odd and sorta edgy aspects of older Dave and Bambi content, cause I believe the series (especially in the future) should be funny and lighthearted.

Fat Kid

I thought I'd say this cause I do see people get pressed from time to time over these new characters I've been introducing pretty frequently in Dave and Bambi. I just know a lot of people don't really get the point of why they exist so...

TLDR: Fat Kid is more important than you would think.

There's also some characters that are simply just incidental. These characters are intentionally one note. These characters really do just serve to simply flesh out the world a little more. Don't get all upset if one of them doesn't end up doing much in anything lol.

I'm just gonna randomly put this out there. Most dnb characters dont directly contribute to anything major and definitely dont contribute to the mod itself. These extra characters are meant to flesh the world out further and introduce new dynamics or potential for new stories/jokes.

Bambi and Tristan are playing Akinator. Akinator correctly guesses Mario. Bambi tells Tristan "I know one he'll NEVER get." Tristan is amused. In the next panel, Akinator correctly guesses Luigi. Bambi and Tristan are shocked, Tristan has his hand on his mouth, Bambi has his hand on his head. Bambi says "Oh my god...".

Dave and Bambi are on the road. Dave asks Bambi "Um.. Bambi, did you remember to bring your Driver's License?". Bambi replies "No, I lost that thing two weeks ago!" Dave starts searching in his pocket for his wallet. Dave slowly pulls his Driver's License out of his wallet, nervous. Bambi happily states "I scribbled some bullshit on your license before we left though, so we should be good.". Dave looks at his Driver's License, it's been scribbled over in black marker obscuring his information and face. There's another layer of red marker. Bambi has drawn his own face over Dave's, and big red text where the information would be is there, stating "MY NAME IS BAMBI, HELLO!".

David is on a UFO with two ugly aliens. The aliens are inspecting his prosthetics. David is in the back, chained up to a foreign object with a giant buzzsaw near him. David is apathetic, in disgust, David states "If they dissect me they better not touch my hair.". David soon hears Bimpe, who has made his way on the UFO. While David is worried, Bimpe says "Woahh, getting abducted is so cool! I hope my friends are here...". David angrily yells at the aliens, stating "YOU GUYS NEED TO KILL ME RIGHT. NOW.".

At Fort Geraldson Elementary and Middle, Dave is teaching a class. Dave states "Alright everyone, start your test and stay quiet.". We then see Memes Kid, snickering to himself. Memes Kid then loudly exclaims "THIS TEST IS TUNG TUNG SAHORRIBLE!". After, Memes Kid sits back in his chair with his hands clasped. In the last panel, Memes Kid is in the center of the frame. To the left is Rylee, shaken up. To the right is Tristan, annoyed.

Spike is in Tristan's room, hanging out. He notices Tristan's Xbox has a problem. Spike says "Tristan, I think you've got the Red Ring of DEATH.", Tristan responds with "THE WHAT?!". Bambi shoves Spike out of the way, confidently saying "DON'T WORRY, I'VE GOT THIS!", Spike is startled, Tristan is visibly upset in the back. Bambi squints his eyes, concentrating on the Xbox's Red Ring, tracing over the ring with a blue marker. Bambi strikes a pose, showcasing his "BLUE ring of LIFE!". Spike offers a rebuttal, "You dumbass.". Spike is visibly annoyed.

Three different character designs to demonstrate canon-compliant muncorts. The first character is a floating head with gloves and shoes, holding a wrench. The second character has a star-shaped head from abnocephaly, floating hands, and a snake-like body in place of a torso and legs. The third character is of similar stature to Bimpe, with no jaw (meaning constantly visible teeth) and one fully-connected arm.

I've actually had the honor of devising a lot of how muncorts work, as well as less but still significant contributions towards lithfolk. I even created these example designs of what muncorts other than Bambi or Bimpe could look like; feel free to take them into account!
