Ideally yeah, but Wirtz was available this summer so had to strike. He may not be cut out for this league but we spent £100m+ on him so would be mad not to give him a chance to show what he can do. Other teams now see Salah as a guaranteed overload on the right and he can't get younger to stop that.
He needs to replace Salah with Frimpong to give Wirtz the space to operate. We are moving creativity from RB to the middle, so we need to spread out the middle. Dont think he has the metal to drop Salah so we will remain in the Twilight zone of trying to build the post Salah team with Salah in it.
