Last month, a band called TOPHOUSE got on my radar because they release new songs every Monday, and one was a banger called DEATHBED. Since I publish horror stories by comedy writers every Monday, it only made sense to respond with a short story called…TOPHOUSE. DeathbedWriting.com
I’ll admit to being surprised how one sided this is

SURVIVAL JOB by @benzelevansky.com (Brooklyn 99, Parks and Recreation) is live now on DeathbedWriting.com.
It’s a charming tale of a young artist struggling to succeed in late stage capitalism, and yes, there’s a Japanese pull saw involved.

THE TELLTALE HONK subscribe.deathbedwriting.com
LOL
Hi, Kathy.
Find yourself someone who loves you as truly and deeply as Spectrum customers in Spectrum commercials love their Spectrum service:
Sam Sifton’s Thanksgiving: How to Make it Well is a good, quick read, with some nice philosophy about what the meal can mean, and good easy recipes. The Kill Shot is Pie. www.penguinrandomhouse.com/books/209904...
When I saw the remake in 2004, I hated it, (except the opening which I loved.) I felt it took the one element that made the original a classic, the criticism of consumer culture, and just cut it. Recently I rewatched it, (without expecting Romero’s genius) and it was fine. Fun, even.
OMG I hate when I do this. Slight variation, but same thing, from November of last year: bsky.app/profile/ritc...
I don’t to say Wicked is overrated but I just heard a person from Boston say It was “pretty” good.

yell “FRANCE!”
Coming Monday from Gena Radcliffe , co-host of the Kill By Kill Podcast, t’s the truly terrifying tale, THE TELLTALE HONK.
(Believe it or not, the scariest part isn’t the “having a clown as a roommate part.)
