The scene changes to Ran curled up and crying somewhere in Mor Dhona, saying "Liar..."

The camera pans out to reveal Ran sitting near the entrance to the area with the Crystal Tower in it, curled up and upset at G'raha's departure to seal himself away in the tower in order to keep it from falling in the hands of people with evil intentions. His voice is quiet as he says "You promised..."

Cheering, Ran pumps his fists in the air as G'raha shrugs while laughing. Excitedly, Ran shouts "Yes! Oh, I could kiss you so bad right now!"

G'raha gently cups Ran's cheek, leaving Ran to finally make eye contact with the miqo'te again. Off-camera, G'raha says "Then why don't we get to know each other better while the two of us are together?"

A fond expression is on G'raha's face as he speaks to Ran and says "The feeling is very much mutual, Ran. If anything, I was worried I was the one making you uncomfortable by making moves too quickly."

A hopeful and emotional look appears on Ran's face as G'raha continues to speak, saying "So... what do you say? Do you want to pave a way to a future where we know each other down to our very souls together? I promise I'll be there every step of the way."

A giddy and delighted grin appears on Ran as he looks at G'raha, standing further upright as he says "Hehe..."

Finally, G'raha looks up at Ran, the flush still present on his face and wearing a hopeful expression as he says "One last time, I ask—you are truthful about your feelings in regards to me, yes? That you like me the way I think you do?"

Ran gets flustered, clenching his fists in his over-eagerness to affirm his feelings as he says "O-Of course I am! The last thing I'd want is to trample on someone's feelings by pretending about such things!"

Ran's confidence makes way for some hesitation as he says "Least of all yours! But I... I didn't mean to blurt it out like that."

Tears well up in Ran's eyes as he glances away from G'raha and says "I mean, we've hardly had the chance to truly get to know each other! Sure, it's true I've never quite clicked with someone as fast as I have with you, but I don't want to ruin that friendship just because I cannot keep a stupid crush in check. A-And now I..."

The flush creeps back on Ran's face as he stares at G'raha.

Ran then glances off to the side as he ponders what to say.

Ran curls in on himself somewhat, a sheepish expression appearing on his face as he says "...What if I do?"

G'raha places a hand over his heart as he speaks and says "I see... Then it seems my own worries were misplaced."

G'raha, off screen, says "Is that what you truly think?"

Ran glances up from behind his hands and says "...What?"

G'raha, a flush still present on his face, is rubbing his arms as he glances away from Ran and says "...Do you truly think of me that way?", with the latter looking on in surprise.

Still glancing away, G'raha says "Are those your honest feelings...? T-That you want to..."

A flush appears on Ran's face as he says "Did I say that out loud...?"

A flush has similarly appeared on G'raha's face, and as he hangs his head to look away and clear his throat, hee says "I—ahem, fear for your that you did."

Ran throws up his arms and clutches his head in agony as he shouts "Augh, shit, shit, shit! I'm so sorry, G'raha! I should think twice before opening my mouth!"

G'raha looks a little shocked at Ran's reaction. Ran leans back forward, burying his head in his hands as he hides his face in shame and starts rambling. He says "Forgive me... I don't know what overtook me... Please forget I said anything, but if you don't want anything to do with me anymore I'll leave, I promise I won't hold it against you—"

Ran casts another look of sheer disbelief at G'raha as the latter says "Pray, take it as a token of my thanks for your assistance with the investigation in regards to the Crystal Tower... and for the pleasant company you've been thus far, too."

Ran clutches the satchel in his hands as he blurts out "Thank you so much, G'raha! Seven hells, I could kiss you so bad right now."

The camera pans far out from them, and G'raha stepps backwards in surprise as he says "...I beg your pardon?"

Ran's eyes widen as he stares in surprise at G'raha, saying "Ah—"

He looks up at Ran with a smile again and says "This should be enough for several batches, correct?"

Ran looks at G'raha in surprise as he says "Highly aetheroconductive—"

He glances down at the satchel in G'raha's hands with an incredulous look as he says "G'raha, this stuff costs a small fortune! How did you get your hands on this amount?!"

G'raha looks at Ran with a confident smile as he hands him the satchel and says "I have my methods. Rest assured I did not have to spend my entire savings on them—it's that a scholar acquaintance of mine knows how to get their hands on the powder relatively easily. I had them procure some for me at a lower cost in trade for me proofreading their academic papers."
