A Beta Steam Client update has just been released to address the launch failure for certain titles such as Balatro and Mewgenics, introduced with yesterday's Beta client.

New Proton Experimental release has fixes for all but one, which is in the pipe for next one.

After trying a bunch of Hautes and the new Varmilo last year, I moved to the new Victrix and am staying there for the time being. It has the extra buttons where I need them. I would love a Kitsune with those extra buttons, though.

I believe that's being worked on.

A fix has been deployed for the Baldur's Gate 3 install issue. May have to restart Steam Deck for it to pick up the new configuration.

There's native Linux games, and wow64 likely has an unacceptable perf hit (tbd). Distro still has to provide 32bit graphics drivers, glibc, etc, at the very least.

It's less about Steam itself and more about the thousands of 32bit games that people have already purchased that will never be updated.
